When do you put your Christmas decorations up?

Will be doing mine the weekend of 12th december, seems a bit early for me but we're having a party the following weekend so want it all up by then & I'll have enough other stuff to do for that.

Mine are going up this weekend! Woohoo! Usually put them up the 2nd weekend in Dec but we have just finished decorating the dining room (well building it - there was no ceiling or plastered walls 2 weeks ago!) so I'm getting carried away and bringing the christmas decorating forward! Daughter will be 1 and 3 months so first real christmas where I can do her advent calendar, crafts, christmas elf, etc. I'm getting really carried away!

haha.. last year it was Christmas Eve for me. I seem to always have much more time to enjoy my decorations AFTER Christmas than I do before

i putmy decs up on 1st of dec and take them down just before new year
if you want to put them up no do it i wouldnt care what anyone thought you do what you want this year

my daughter bis 6 and my son is 3 so decs are up now
we have made a christmas display in dining room for them aswell
just like santas grotto and they love it and even more hyper than ever
would post a pic but not got a clue how to do it
