My tree is up - this afternoon & I love it!0

Our tree is the last thing to go up and is always the weekend after DD1's birthday on the 29th.
I'm busy making decorations and a new table cloth/napkins for this year so already been watching christmas films to get me in the spirit.
Taking DD's to Euro Disney on the 18th for the day and then off to Bruges Christmas market on the 20th so will be truely and utterly ready for the festivities. :T"Start every day off with a smile and get it over with" - W. C. Field.0 -
My fiance is Flemish, and over there they have Sinter Klaas Day which is on the 6th December, so that`s when the decorations are going up. :-) (we also exchange a gift too)"Ignore the eejits...it saves your blood pressure and drives `em nuts!"0

Ours usually go up the first weekend in Dec but we are away this year visiting family for an 'early xmas' so they are going up the night before we leave so we can come back and stay festive :santa2:
We're not big into decorations mind - we have a tree which has some tinsel on it, some bits of tinsel on picture frames/bookcases etc, some xmassy tealight holders and a few xmassy ornaments that OH has bought me from the german xmas market every year for my stocking ..... and thats it
Anything else and the dogs try to eat them :snow_laug0 -
and then off to Bruges Christmas market on the 20th so will be truely and utterly ready for the festivities.
Aw, fun!
We tried to go to the German Christmas markets last year, but the Eurostar managed to get stuck in the channel tunnel the day before we were due to go out.:rudolf: :rudolf: :rudolf: :rudolf: :rudolf:0
