I didn't think of this, but this definitely applies to me. Our wheely bin gets emptied once every 2 weeks and it is FULL to the brim and we're great at recycling. So I'm not sure where the disposable nappies are going to fit! We will be using disposables until baby fits the one size nappies.
Do you compost? It makes a surprising amount of difference.

    Hilarious notes, :rotfl:.
Just think of all the medical staff that will see your notes since she written it and wonder what on earth is going on.......:rotfl:

Yep, I think you should def wangle a couple of work at home days :D When are you starting ML? My last day is 23 Feb - cant wait!

Debs - It wil fly by hon I'm sure. Are they giving you an early scan for reassurance?

Giz - I hope your bunny is ok. It's horrible when pets are poorly - they're so defenceless :(

No - this only happens if you have bleeding/pain or you have lost 3. I don't qualify!

    It's a long old time to wait.:o

I can't believe the BFPs I remember on the TTC thread when I joined last year are almost becoming babies..... I bet after the 1st 12 weeks time just flies by!

I do have a compost bin, but not a lot to compost. Our council already provide a separate bin for food waste. And we don't have too much green waste especially as our lawn in quite small. And too much grass cuttings isn't good in a compost anyway. Our biggest problem is the rabbit waste, but there's really only so much of that you can compost too.

Debski, I am sure I remember you from the TTC thread...

For me time was sloooow from week 4-20. Then it flew by to about week 37. The last 3 weeks have dragged!

My bunny is still poorly. She still didn't eat a thing last night, so we're continuing to syringe feed her today. Lucky for me because OH wants to be at the hospital appointment he's managed to take today off using TOIL and so he's been able to look after her for me.

I'm 40+1 and I swear each day is getting very much more painful with regards to the pelvic area. I can no longer roll over in bed. If I want to change sides I have to get out of bed and the get back in again facing the way I want!

I will be happier today when my stupid appointment is over with, only an hour to go...then hopefully I can chill out more for the rest of the day.

Regarding car accidents - please be careful girls. I had 2 myself around the 30 - 34 week marks. Managed to get away with both (no obvious damage to other cars and they never called back to make a claim). But I totally understand the absentmindedness - I have to focus myself properly when driving now. Although I think I past that dappy stage.

  • Hi ladies. Sorry i've not been on. Been on a bit of a downer so thought i'd take a break for a while and come back when I felt a bit better. Well... when I thought I felt a bit better lol. Midwife appointment today had me in tears. Work are being awkward and have changed all my hours round yet again. Which means i'm going to have trouble making all the appointments I need to have. She told me she was booking my GTT in for Monday (i'm already at the hospital on Monday for Growth scan) and I just burst into tears wondering how i'm going to make up the hours! I'm self employed and so don't get paid for any times off. Great! :( Looks like a Monday Morning hospital for me then!

Apart from that still suffering backache/hip ache. Every morning is extremely painful. So so tired it is unreal. Midwife advised if it all gets too much then i'm to go to the doctors as once depression sets in it can be a slippery slope and hard to get back on an even keel. So I came home and scoffed a load of chocolate to make myself feel better! It will be my last now though until after GTT results. :(

Feel cacky and just want a hug :(

Hope everyone else is doing better than me! Oh and Debs... after 12 weeks you won't believe the difference time flies. I know this one is a sticky one for you and have everything crossed. Hope time is on your side and goes a bit quicker to get you to your scan and give you the reassurance I know you must so desperately want xx
