My M&S cot has arrived! They put it together for me. I wasn't going to as it's still a bit early but they talked me in to it. At least as they did put it together I know it's not damaged & looks good Still can't quite believe I got such a fab cot so cheaply. Now just to get the IKEA mattress & job done. The only other thing I still need to buy is the terry nappy squares from Boots, they are out of stock at the moment but are getting more in soon. I kept everything from DS so we already have most of what we need. I went through all the baby clothes we had in the loft at the weekend, they kept really well so we shouldn't really need to buy anything much for the first year

saw easter eggs in tesco today......cant believe that at easter I will have a 1 month old!!!! :cool:

OK I'm not sure if I have made a mistake but before Christmas my sister and I had a huge fight and she deleted me off FB which I really couldn't have cared less about. Was down home at the weekend and my mother had forgotten to tell her about the baby shower so I quipped that had she not deleted me she would have known all about it........this morning I got up to find a friend request from her so I accepted....does this sound silly but now I think I shouldn't have as she is going to be there again at every move I make, making comment etc etc.....

Doesn't sound good to me. Are you able to phone the MW for advice?

If you want, you can use your privacy settings to hide things from her so that she doesn't see everything.

Yeah I know have done that on a few people but she will comment on anything be it a game post or a status or a photo :S I only accepted her an hour or so ago and she has been through my photo albums from before Christmas now lol

In theory yes, in practice no. They are always in clinics and will 'ring you back' (never do)

I've got my first Parentcraft class tonight and luckily it is my MW who teaches week 1 so I will mention it to her if I get the chance. Feel like I need a good sleep. Might slope off work early.....not confident driving tho since the bump yesterday

Afternoon everyone!
Day 2 at the hospital... I have a stubborn child that will not come out despite being 40+13 and having had 24hours of prostaglandin pessary...
It's getting a wee bit tedious.
Plus, I can't be too much on MSE as I only have my phone and it's not that easy to go through the pages. Winge winge winge

Hi All

not been posting much, but have been lurking LOADS. Im now 36 +5 and went to the breastfeeding classes provided free at the hospital today. i would really recommend going to them if any of your hospitals provide them and you want to breastfeed

made me feel loads more confident as it is something i want to do.

i know its not for everyone but i was really pleased with the classes.
