    Hi ladies and bumps

Oh and I don't know what to do re pushchairs and its doing my head in. Had heart set on Silvercross 3D but having a good play the handles felt too low at their highest point and felt like hardwork. Trying a Graco one with one handle felt higher and more natural than two handles. So if anyone has any ideas or experience of one handle pushchair for £250 or less, travel system preferred, or with footmuff then let me know!! I don't want one where you have to inflate tyres as I would be paranoid re punctures, so that will rule out 3 wheelers.

Thanks for reading if you've got this far, I know some of you are feeling down and I love the support we all give each other. Massive :grouphug: to you all xx

i have got this one, thought i might have to return it when i ordered as couldn't believe anything that cheap could be good but it's awesome. amazing quality, really lovely to use and the folding function is amazing.

pm me if you want more info, OH and i are soooo glad we went for this rather than shell out 300 quid on the ones we were looking at before!!

Thanks ladies, lizbob are the wheels solid on that one? Looks as though they are? Only problem is its red...OH is a Tottenham supporter and would refuse to push the red of Arsenal:D.

wheels are solid. not sure if you can get one in another colour. not this particular model but they do other models similarly priced and i really can vouch for the quality and ease of use.

Also just thought I'd whinge a little bit. Feeling very sorry for myself as I'm in the stage where bump is tiny so just makes me look fat... like as if I have overhang. Silly bump. Also bump is being a bit greedy these days. Making me very hungry. So I'm having to snack on fruit and stuff a lot.

Me too pixie I look like I've eaten a few too many takeaways and whilst that might be true - I've only eaten them because the baby made me :D

I can't wait to have a real bump!

Hi ddebski_us, good to see you here xx Time doesn't seem like it is flying for me even though I'm 21 weeks now.
It doesn't fly for me either. In fact I'm finding it worse than the first time because I keep thinking things like, "I should be 28 weeks by now and then I'd only have twelve weeks left to go."

I had a !!!!!!! useless consultnot sorry consultant appointment yesterday, was with one of her team. Was just no point and no concern raised. She just put no issues/problems in pregnancy on my notes!!
Sounds worse than my consultant appointment that was with the registrar. She asked me how I was, I said, "Still being sick." and she wrote down, "Feeling much better." This time I'm going to turn down consultant care.
Tough choice! I'm not spending more than £60, it's silly to think the mattress cost more than the cot :rotfl:
One lady on B&B I spoke to had spent about £250 on a cot then another £100 on a mattress, noway could I afford or justify that (though I would if I had the cash to splash of course!)
We spent £80 on a mattress last time and nothing on the cot (it was loaned) but we bought a sprung mattress and then made a toddler bed to fit it so have got almost four years use out of it so far.
