It doesn't fly for me either. In fact I'm finding it worse than the first time because I keep thinking things like, "I should be 28 weeks by now and then I'd only have twelve weeks left to go."

Sounds worse than my consultant appointment that was with the registrar. She asked me how I was, I said, "Still being sick." and she wrote down, "Feeling much better." This time I'm going to turn down consultant care.

Thing is there is strong chance the birthing centre won't be open so would have to go to the hospital 16 odd miles and 40 mins away, which I'd have to go to as classed as high risk. Do I stay consultant lead? Will see what midwife says. From 30 weeks I'll see her every 2 or 3 weeks anyway.

Oooh, don't forget to check your local Asda for any further reductions in the baby event:

Who was waiting for the stair gate to be reduced?

I'll be going tomorrow - so will report back!

If your midwife is decent I'd discuss it with her before making a decision.

I have absolutely no confidence in my local hospital so am hoping I don't end up having to transfer to hospital. I've been looking various things up relating to my treatment in December in preparation for my complaint and looked up warfarin which I was offered (with very little information given) and refused. It turns out it can be harmful to unborn babies and is particularly dangerous at 6-9 weeks (I was 6 1/2-7).

Hello everyone, hope your all ok today. Labour vibes for Chakani, flower and giz (not until saturday) Well, im still here and fed up now, got everything organised for bubs and only thing left to do now is get the carseat fitted, which we are doing tomorrow. Anyone used Mothercare for there car seat fitting?

Giz - Hope everything went ok at your hospital appointment and that your rabbit starts to get better soon.

RBG - your gift bags look lovely, kinda wish I could have had a baby shower, but I dont really have that many friends :( cue sympathy for me lol.

I bought a bouncing ball thing yesterday and have been bouncing like mad trying to get Bubs to settle down and get ready to come out, but it doesnt seem to do much apart from get me all red face and peeved off at Mr Sharkey as he finds it hilarious watching me. He is also getting fed up being back at home and I feel as if he is resenting me coz he isnt working at the moment. His work are desperate for him to go back, and he has resisted so far, but I think once our savings start to drain he will be wanting to go back, which would mean that I would be at home alone with no real support with a 1 month baby - cue me sitting in tears all afternoon as I just dont know how I will cope doing everything myself, just really shocked as I didnt think that I would have to face this so soon.
Have ordered a curry so maybe that will do something to help things along.lol.
