Mmm just wondered as bubs is still lying quite low. Nothing to worry about I know but I'm sure DD was moving much higher by this point.:o Maybe bubs just likes where he/she is LOL

Yeah isn't agonising but is just there all the time which is annoying. Will ask at next appointment if is still there!

    Thanks girls anyway x
  • Hello ladies,

Hope your all as well as can be, labour vibes to all that need them (and congrats to those with baby now!)

Dusty, Ive had the dizziness thing too, I now manage at work by drinking sugary drinks and sitting with a fan in my face!

Debs-lovely to see you on here :)

Sammy-your midwife notes actually made me 'LOL' haha.

Speaking of midwife notes, think my mw has made a mistake on mine :( My 28week appt was actually done at 2 days before i hit my 30th week, yet on the growth chart, she's plotted it at 28 weeks, putting me at the top of the 2 lines, yet when I work it out at the 30th week, I'm right at the bottom :( I've heard about centile etc, how do i measure this?

Also, bit of a random question, I know there's a parent thread (but I'm still a bit scared to go on there!) and I know there's some mummies on here, do all nurseries charge you when your on holiday? I understand that they charge you if child is sick etc, but for some reason I thought they didn't charge you holidays, yet the 2 that we were looking at both do.

Hope your all ok, sorry I haven't had a chance to read back

    BB xx

At my Dd's nursery you are allowed 2 weeks hols a year, I can take her out obviously as often as I want but the other weeks have to be paid for.

I don't venture over there much but I like to lurk on the parents thread and they all seem really lovely, so don't be scared to ask!:)

  • Thanks Teenie, just feel its tempting fate? 31 weeks and still paranoid, guess that sets me up well for the next 18-21 years eh!x

  • Hey all!

Been popping on and reading off and on all day. :)

    Labour vibes as needed.

Congrats to ASHeta on baby Leon!

    Hi Debs!

Madbird, sounds terrible, hope you get everything sorted x.

Sammy, funnily enough I was in Asda earlier, they didn't have masses left but I did get the Tommee Tippee Healthcare Grooming set, it was down to £5. Even better was that I used my Newborn Huggies Kit voucher and got that and the grooming set for £3. :T Some of the soothers were down in price, and there was a play gym down to £9.

I'm going to get the Ikea mattress, I'm about 45 minutes away from both the Glasgow and Edinburgh stores, so not too bad really, and I need an excuse to go anyway. ;)

Weather is wild again. DP I managed to get to sleep eventually, I quite like lying in bed listening to the wind and the rain, or in this case sleet lol. It did snow this morning, but only got about 30mins.

My mum felt baby girl kick tonight which was lovely. She's still bouncing off my pelvis ligaments though, ouch!
 Mummy to an amazing little girl

Evening everyone, just wanted to let you know the hospital appointment was a complete waste of time. Doc measured me as 37cm. And said the baby size feels fine and it is just that the head in engaged so my belly has got smaller. So all stress for nothing. Actually not a complete waste of time as we did get our bearings while we were there as to wear the delivery suite is and worked out how to get a 7 day parking pass. So at least that's a couple of things off OH's mind.

I think that and my rabbit has just knackered me out, so I'm off to bed now. I have read through the posts and off the top of my head:

    @Ash - congrats on baby Leon :)

Labour vibes to Chakani, Sharkey and I hope something has started for Flower.

To all you M&S cot owners - well done on your bargains, they look fab.

hugs to madbird - read your post earlier about the consultant.

We get charged :( but its the same for all the nurseries in the area here.

I am soooooo tired! I just want a night where OH's snoring, DDs sleep talk and my hip pain doesnt wake me up although I think this may be too much to ask. 36+5weeks today and looking forward to the consultants appointment on monday (not).
