Hi all,
Annibee - hope you are OK hun, hopefully is just a bad day and you will be feeling better tomorrow x
hngrymummy - hope you feel better soon! I had a big a few weeks back and found ice lollies good for getting rehydrated, sent OH to the shop for some.
Apricot - hope you get to tell your boss soon, i hate that feeling.
I kept waking up last night but don't feel too bad today.0 -
annibee - I totally understand what you're feeling about not being able to just ring anyone up and talk. The only 'mate' (not quite to the friend level) of mine that has a baby actually lives in the area but we don't have anything in common. There's some friends that I can text about some things but there's not that one person that I can talk to about EVERYTHING. I've been depending on 3 different people for different talks and the rest have just been venting on here. I'm hoping there'll be people I can 'make friends with' at antenatal classes etc.
Lablover - Having attended boarding school, I came across a lot of rich parents. Yes, they always came along to public events in their designer clothes and 'yummy mummy mindset' but when it was just to pick up their kids at weekends or whatever, they turned up in joggers, uggs and big rugby shirts, with their hair just tied up and no makeup on. Not so yummy then, eh? So she might seem like a yummy mummy out in the streets but at home, it's probably a different story. Also, I think if a new parent can honestly say that they have enough time in the first couple of weeks to look pristine every day then there's probably someone helping them out with the baby A LOT behind the scenes. I'm sure I'm going to be in leggings or joggers a lot in the beginning. And if not it'll be jeans a t-shirt. Besides, i'm hoping people will be cooing over baby and ignoring my pasty faceA-Z Challenge: ABCDEFGHIJKLMNOPQRSTUVWXYZ

Hiya Lady bumps
Have had a busy morning so am going to take some time this afternoon to relax....went into work for the wee leaving tea for my colleague and visited a couple of friends then got taken out for lunch so it has been a busy one lol
I want to just give a big group hug to everyone.....seems that when one of us is having a good day everyone else is having carppy ones but I guess that is the joy of being PG....girlies I say embrace the jammies and the comfort and the not being bothered to stand in the shower because it is so tiring or climb into the bath coz that means you have to hurt yourself if you have SPDI have my fair share of feeling down and having weepy days and pain and you guys help me through it even if I am sitting crying my eyes out when I read everyone's kind words. Thank you xxxxxxx

That's not on EA...can you see another Dr in the practice or can you give your MW a call....my referral from physio was done on Wednesday by my MW and I am having my first treatment on Monday morning......The pod landed and produced baby Timothy on 10th March 20110 -
hi everyone,
de lurking for a minute a) state i'm 24 weeks today - VIABLE!!! and b) share my amazing travle system find. i just bought this one http://www.nurseryvalue.com/travel-systems/petite-star-aruba-travel-system--car-seat--parasol.aspx which i then got a further £10 off so £111 including free delivery which took 48 hours to arrive.
put it together last night and am sooo impressed. the folding action is way better than any of the ones we looked at in mothercare, it feels really nice a nd solid while being lightweight. i can't see any reason why this won't last it seems really well made and the car seat and cosy toes has such a lovely fleecy lining. OH keeps going on about how it's my best bargain ever!
anyway hope this might be usefull to someone who's still looking....0 -

It takes forever to get appointments and my MW said she only answers texts. Im still waiting on a reply from about 4 weeks ago!
Im glad i have consultant care this pregnancy, hopefully they will be able to pull their finger out and get things done!0 -
Oh no! - ladies my credit card is in trouble - just had an email from Boden introducing their new maternity range and offering 10% off and free delivery  - they are my fave online retailer but they are expensive! God damn them!0

Okay ladies I need some help. So on the product page for travel system it shows woman clipping baby in whilst baby in carseat bit. So I assume it's okay. But then on other places people have been saying it's not parent facing so can you not put baby in like that? I thought that was the point of the carseat bit clipping in?

I feel a little silly asking as it's probably an obvious answer but I honestly am a little perplexed.A-Z Challenge: ABCDEFGHIJKLMNOPQRSTUVWXYZ

Yes I've had consultant care last pregnancy and this one and have found it to work better for me.
Sorry you've had such a carp appointment - my midwife is very sweet but can only contact her on Thursday's - otherwise can leave a voice message for her apparently but only if non urgent as she said she can take a couple of days to get back.0
