    Lol, I know im somewhat delusional , but hoping a bright green bag draws the eye away from greasy trailer trash hair and joggers covered in baby sick

    :rotfl::rotfl:

    Sharkey if it's any consolation I feel exactly the same, feel housebound because even walking 5 minutes to shops puts me in agony for rest of day, loads to do in house and just getting frustrated with myself. My OH is sort of supportive but could be better, would love him to feel like this for a day! :cool:

    I just keep telling myself it's not forever and will be worth it in the end. :A

    I wanted something compact and it is, really easy to change from pushchair to pram, and folds umbrella style as pram too, so no faffing with carrycot. Had Icandy Apple with DD which I adored, but have since moved house so had to think about space. It's £280 brand new on M&P site (reduced from £395), but there's quite a few on e-bay. :)

    To be honest I'm not actually sure what being a yummy mummy totally entails :rotfl:- I've been told i the past I am one apparently lol! (mainly by male colleagues at work) but I don't feel as flattered as perhaps I should?!
    In fact rather the opposite - it's a very superficial comment in my opnion in that it's about what you look like rather than who you are.

    I certainly never aspired to be yummy in those first few months - in fact I was bordering on scummy!:rotfl:lol!

    EDIT to add - on a more serious note - don't put yourself under additional pressure in the early days - go with the flow x

    My mum is getting a pram from someone at her work. My mum lives in a different town from me and thought it would be easier if she got a pram so Im not lugging loads of stuff when I visit. So im excited to see it, its a Mamas and Papas one, so cant wait to play with it

    Annibee, if you want, either PM me your full name, or add me off RBG's friend list, as there are a couple of people on there with your initials - (mine are EU, and my profile pic is me and my toddler, who's wearing a big green and blue hat, we both have navy coats on) and I can send you the link to the FB group - same goes for anyone else who's not on there and wants to be.

    ETA - I see you've got there already!

    It's reviews are really good - we looked at it on Sunday in the shop but ended up going for the Sola cos I wanted something that could face fowards or backwards in the early days - now we are thinking of getting the carrycot for the Sola anyway so could have gone for the Pilko after all.

    Actually there are quite a few M&P pushchairs I like :o
