Well my OH just rang my work to say hes bought me lunch , yay :D So will pop home shortly. I really like the M&P pilko poka one but its not suitable for me because we walk the dog for 7 miles at a time , and they said it wouldnt be dureable enough for me. Hope my mums one is something like that ,lol I can have the big beast of a quinny and she can have the cute pram so i get the best of both worlds. Il never forget someone I used to know bought the latest I-candy pram cost her a fortune and her mum picked up a cheapo pram from a car boot for £5 it was truely ugly , the girl used to call it a battleship and was mortified when her mum put bubs in. Well the baby loved it , fell asleep in it all time and the girl often had to walk home with sleeping bubs in the ugly buggy it drove her nuts her i-candy was hardly ever used.
Thanks to MSE for making it possible for me save to buy my new flat , yay !!

  • Hi All

Once again, thanks for the good wishes. You really are such a lovely group of people, and very caring :A

    Quick update...
Water is staying put, as is the ice. Grapes are doing quite well too. Hopefully I'll be able to get enough in me to avoid DH making me call the delivery suite.

I did read what everyone was up to, but to be honest I'm too tired to reply. So, appropriate wishes to everyone.

Oh yes, yummy mummies. There's nothing yummy about sitting on the loo with your head in a bucket :rotfl:

Well packed DD off to Nanny's last night, was knackered so was in bed by 10. OH up and out for work by 4.30am (I know, poor thing) and next thing I know its 10.30..............lovely long sleep!

On the yummy mummy thing, Im sat on the sofa with greasy hair in my PJ's and a messy house, trying to work up the energy to get some tidying done seeing as we have a dd free weekend but I think I'll have a cuppa tea first lol

    Afternoon ladies :D

Well I'm feeling a wee bit more alive today. Took me ages to get into a good sleep though kept wakening up and thinking tea was going to make a reappearance, big bowl of pasta and an early bed doesn't really go that well LOL!

Claire congratulations! Wow what a labour. Cool name

Hngry hope you start to feel better soon

Sharkey like many have said, a lot of us have felt/will feel like you are at some point. Pregnancy isn't my favourite thing in the world, but the end result is wonderful.

Apricot welcome to my world! On Tuesday when I was off with DD we came back from docs at 11.30am and both got back into our pj's :o I never done a thing that day (well I did have a poorly little one you understand :D)

Nic good for you ! All that walking really makes me feel ashamed, but honestly I was in agony by the time I done the shopping last night, I just can't walk or stand for any length of time. My problem is sciatica but it's funny I don't get back pain, it's just the most intense burning sensation going down my right thigh. Had the same with DD too. My pelvis was bit sore by the time I got to bed too.

Finally got my MATB1 form handed into work, so I officially start my ML on 18th April but I am taking hols the week and a half before so my last day is the 6th April meaning I only have *goes to work it out* 28 days left to work  (I only work 3 days a week). I only have 6 more shifts of my second job to work :j. I keep getting asked from my manager there if I'm coming back which really annoys me, I keep telling her I DON'T KNOW!!!! Ideally no I wont be back but we'll just have to see how things go, also I would lose my discount card if I hand in my notice straight away and I will still accumulate holidays which would be paid if I do eventually hand in my notice. I'm not going to wait until the last minute to tell her what I'm doing but for goodess sake let me have my baby first!

On the subject of being a yummy mummy - im not even yummy while im pregnant. My hair is horrible, skin is terrible and I spend most of my time at home wearing pyjamas and laying on the sofa. Im hoping that I have a sudden "glow" one day though!

Yep, thats me, although at some point I move into slummy joggers and rugby shirt!

Glad there is a light improvement HM, keep resting xx

    Claire congrats on Monty xx

Well I slept all night, which means I probably won't tonight as I carried on dozing until got 11...oops! I would have stayed in bed longer but thought best get up. Having quick lunch at mums then need to take some bits back to Matalan. I might get some neutral baby bits to cheer me after yesterdays disappointment of not finding out.
:heart2:Baby boy madbird arrived 15/06/11 by emergency csection weighing 9lb 13oz:eek: love him so much xx:heart2:

Well my lunch was great and I told OH about the changing bag and he said just to get it.He said he didnt think £56 was that expensive for a bag Il use all the time :D So got my 20 week scan on the 9th of feb , if everything is good then Il get it. Itl be the 1st real thing Ive bought. Ive gotten nappies and some sleep suits but only cause they were cheap. I cant remember who has done it , but I plan a trip to primark to buy joggers for after the birth. Well I may pop in later to see how everyone is , but Ive got a mountain of work waiting on me and it always makes the afternoon go quicker
