My mum is getting a pram from someone at her work. My mum lives in a different town from me and thought it would be easier if she got a pram so Im not lugging loads of stuff when I visit. So im excited to see it, its a Mamas and Papas one, so cant wait to play with it

That's a good idea - my mum has always kept a separate pushcahir at hers - she got rid of it a few years back now (she has 9 grandchildren so bubs will be her 10th) - now there's a thought perhaps I could get the Pilko for her to keep at hers? :D

Annibee, if you want, either PM me your full name, or add me off RBG's friend list, as there are a couple of people on there with your initials - (mine are EU, and my profile pic is me and my toddler, who's wearing a big green and blue hat, we both have navy coats on) and I can send you the link to the FB group - same goes for anyone else who's not on there and wants to be.

ETA - I see you've got there already!

Same here Annibee (or anyone else). My initials are TH and surname same as here! On RBG's x

Lablover you won't careless when the time comes (and nor should you), I always imagine these pristine new mummies to be headless neurotic chickens behind closed doors! :D

I posted earlier that I have to walk 3 miles each day doing the school runs. Ive worked it out wrong and its actually 4 and a half miles:o i will have those skinny calves to fit into my new wellies lol

i never walked that far un pregnant!

4 miles is probably nothing to some but its a lot for me who relies on the car far too much lol

  • Morning.

hngrymummy, hope you feel better soon.

    Claire, congratulations on Monty!

Annibee, I posted something similar a few days ago. I'm hoping to meet people at groups. Have no friends locally.

I'd like to be a yummy mummy, but will settle for vaguely clean and tidy mummy instead lol.

I love the Sola, but need to have a good play with it in the shop at some point.

I had a terrible night. PGP is driving me up the wall, can't lie on left side for long, then when I move to my right side or my back I worry about the baby. Even then I can't stay in 1 position for long, add to that the fact the cat wanted to play at random times and the result wasn't much sleep. Hope the physio on Monday helps.

On the up side it's my birthday on Sunday. DH is taking me to the Chinese restaurant tomorrow night and my mum is making lunch on Sunday. :T
 Mummy to an amazing little girl

Gotta go and make something to eat for ds who has got bored of being good and is now trashing the living room lol.
I, not events, have the power to make me happy or unhappy today. I can choose which it shall be. Yesterday is dead, tomorrow hasn't arrived yet. I have just one day, today, and I'm going to be happy in it.

On the subject of being a yummy mummy - im not even yummy while im pregnant. My hair is horrible, skin is terrible and I spend most of my time at home wearing pyjamas and laying on the sofa. Im hoping that I have a sudden "glow" one day though!

Ooh hitchins that's a bargain on the pram - I think that's the one we are going to go for but need to go to m&P and have a good play around with it first!

Friend just rang and asked me if I wanted her crib as she has never used it and her LO is too big for it now. I don't know what to do I will already have a moses basket - is a crib not pretty much the same thing?
