Congrats on the two new arrivals , cant wait for some pics to coo over. Well my meeting yesterday was a waste of time and too top it off I was like this all the way home :lipsrseal felt so travel sick. Got back to the office at 2.30 and was literally green , my fave work mate got me a glass of water and everyone else just ignored me , so was sitting trying to hold in the bolkes at work. Then when I got home I made some dinner , dry chicken in wraps and ended up going for a bath then to bed.OH never helped with anything , woke up this morning and all the dishes were still in the kitchen sink  and he had to the cheek to say "jeso , looks like a bombs went off in this house " So Ive put a curry in the slow cooker (which he hates ) and will blast house when I get in , sit and eat my curry then watch kidnap and ransom (which he hates ) and he can make his own tea :D Dont mess with a pregnant lady !!!
Thanks to MSE for making it possible for me save to buy my new flat , yay !!

  • I had a wierd dream last night the midwife told me I had been selected for a new birth technique called the "toothpaste" birth she explained you don't go into labour, instead you are admitted a week before your due date and 3 midwives squeeze the baby down your tummy and out a bit like a tube of toothpaste and it only took about 3 hours she said  I tried to refuse but she said it was too late I was booked for tomorrow:eek::rotfl:

  • Hi, I'm back and I'm team.......................yellow:cool:

Baby was not cooperating, arms, long legs and big feet (takes after me) were everywhere, plus cord right between the legs. Unfortunately because of my increased BMI she couldn't complete all the anomaly checks as pictures were too grainy:(, she did say couldn't see anything that concerned her, couldn't see kidneys, but saw bladder which means baby swallowing, said baby wasn't retaining fluid. So I get to go back in 2 weeks for another scan:T. She said I was at the earliest part for the 20 week scan and baby still has to develop. OH was a bit disappointed and is quite anxious still that no definite answers. I've got consultant appointment next week so I might see what they say about scans etc. I have got pics but they aren't great, might scan later.

Baby was hyper active during scan and is still not happy by the amount of movements I can feel. I'm ok, if not a little deflated.

Hee hee, our male cat used to wake you by licking your eyebrows and clawing at the covers to get into bed with you.
Love him to bits but nowadays him and his catty sister are not allowed in the bedrooms!!!!
Sleep well Madbird, here's hoping no more weird and wonderful dreams !!!!!!!

We can't shut him out as we'd never get any sleep as he'd cry all night and rake his claws in anything he could, carpet, wallpaper, sofa, I'm sure a baby is going to be less work than him!

Ah PC, you made me giggle with your dream :)

MI3, it will happen hun. Sorry its taking so long, labour vibes and fingers crossed for you. Have you tried rubbing clary sage oil into your tummy, not sure if it has any effect, but midwives gave me some when i was in labour and told me it would speed things up.

Discovered that a lady i work with, her sister is a midwife at the hosp i'm delivering at. And apparently they only have one birthing pool, its ridiculous, its a massive hospital, really disappointed now as i bet its in use when i go in :(

He honestly thinks that I should be kissing his feet becoz he is doing so much over time at the minute. Im grateful that hes doing it , but its going toward paying debt that he ran up so its of no benefit to me and I shouldnt need to beg him for a help in the house every now again. Hes so weird becoz he moves the car everynight so I dont have long walk in the morning , and went with me to my mums to put stuff up the loft because he didnt want me carrying it. Yet hes more than happy with me scrubbing floors and carrying shopping up to the flat. Rant over , lol
