Morning, a quick update from me. Contractions progressed significantly all day yesterday, then went a bit erratic in the evening. Asked midwife to come out and on exam I was only 1-2 cm dilated
So I've had a second night without sleep and with contractions to boot - to say I am exhausted is a huge understatement. Midwife said to call her again as soon as I was consistently getting contractions every 3 minutes, but they've now dropped back to every 6-10 minutes.
This baby just does not want to come out.We Made-it-3 on 28/01/11 with birth of our gorgeous DD.0 -

Sorry to hear that Mi3, havent got any tips other than to keep as active as you can but at the same time try and have a snooze to get some energy for the main event. Oh and dont forget to eat something, Im not suggesting a huge meal just light meals and snacks to keep your energy up. Although saying that I remember sitting and eating a chinese whilst having contractions with dd lol.
Did the midwife not give you another sweep?
Hope things start moving soon! Remember, stay active and upright if possible!! xxxSealed Pot Challenge Member 151

Morning All
Just going to have a little moan......I know I said to the midwife that there wasnt much point in physio for the SPD but maybe I was wrong, its so bloody painful!! Poor DD, she is only 2 and was helping me take my socks off last night and she wanted a cuddle this morning but I couldnt pick her up so she had to wait until I had managed to position myself on the sofa and then come and have a cuddle
And now Im feeling guilty about her going to my mums for the weekend, I know she'll be fine and that she loves going there but I just feel bad about her going. Even though I know the rest will do me good.
Pff, pregnancy sucks.
On the upside, baby has started to engage which midwife thought quite unusual for a 2nd baby, said its not showing any sign of popping back out again so baby could be here sooner than March, that would be nice!
Altho OH has to go into hospital for surgery mid-end Feb which could complicate things slightly!!

My MW did my referral for physio yesterday DM.......said they will see my due date and will get me in quicker so I also phoned and let them know the referral was on it's way and they are going to phone me if a cancellation comes up.....if it is painful I would say go and see the physio sweetie even if it is only a for a couple of weeks benefit......Dr also told me hot baths and codeine if it gets really sore HTH xxxxThe pod landed and produced baby Timothy on 10th March 20110 -

I know it won't heal up (it's been pierced so long now and it withstood my previous 2 pregnancies) but my niece mentioned a plastic belly bar that you can use instead of the stainless steel during pregnancy - had a quick goggle but can't find anything - has anyone used anything like this?
Just don't fancy having a big hole where my jewellery usually goes!
I got mine online at Pierced and Modified, they have quite a nice range, I bought two, cut one smaller than the other, so when it started getting tight I went to the next size up. They were pretty cheap, can't remember how much though, sorry!Challenges - repay all credit cards by end of 2015Starting the savings for retirement :rotfl:
