My sweetie of a DH got me a long pillow for sleeping on for my christmas and I love it!!! He was even smart enough to get it with a red cover (my fav colour!!!)
    Hope it does help.

Pixie, sorry, I did mean to put you on my list (blame baby brain) and I hope you manage to talk to your OH and sort out where you stand. Can't be easy with you both living in different places with outside influences.. ((hugs))

Off to go do some work. Sigh. lol

I should add that she's absolutely mad about babies. She's been desperate for a baby sibling for at least a year and all her cuddly toys are her babies. She's always feeding/changing/bathing them or pushing them in pushchairs or carrying them in slings.

How old is Alice Susan? She sounds exactly like my little sister who is 4. My other sister and niece are still living at home and Ella loves to do everything for the baby - when baby gets bathed Ella picks a vest, babygro, clean nappy and lays them all out on the bed for my sis! Sounds like you're going to have a fantastic little helper.:D

My scan is in 12 and 1/2 hours....its not really on my mind a lot!!

Hope your scan goes well tomorrow Madbird I didn't sleep at all the night before my 1st scan - im sure Ill be the same at the next one!
((hugs)) to you pixie. I've had my own issues with OH as the ladies here will know. He isn't a liar but he simply won't talk to me about the most important things. He'll happily talk about what to have for dinner but won't talk about how we'll cope financially after the birth. Very frustrating.

This sounds very much like my OH - he keeps saying "we will manage" but I want to know exactly how and he just keeps telling me not to worry!

:grouphug: for you pixie I would be upset and it's not made any easier by the fact that you can't see him until the weekend I guess. Hope he realises the error of his ways soon!

In other news - I think my belly button has shrunk  I know it's really random but it seems smaller than usual

Also - does anyone know of any deals on cinema tickets? I promised my little sister I'd take her to see Tangled on the weekend but last time we went it cost nearly £15 just to get in!

Hope everyone is well - labour vibes and hugs to you all!

Hmm, seem to remember it came from somewhere like "preciousbump"??? I think. Will have a look when I get home this morning. It's just not the kind of thoughtful thing he'd do. He's a real bloke if you know what I mean!!! But I love him just as he is.

Well I'm wide awake! Thanks to my hungry cat who wakes me by clawing my face, after I ignored the wet nose in my eye socket!

Glad in a way as was having crazy dreams, one of which was I turned up too late for my scan! Another was one of the Red Arrows crashed into the local school gym thats not far from me.

Said cat now curled up asleep beside me so will take the hint and try the same. Speak later xx
:heart2:Baby boy madbird arrived 15/06/11 by emergency csection weighing 9lb 13oz:eek: love him so much xx:heart2:

Hee hee, our male cat used to wake you by licking your eyebrows and clawing at the covers to get into bed with you.
Love him to bits but nowadays him and his catty sister are not allowed in the bedrooms!!!!
Sleep well Madbird, here's hoping no more weird and wonderful dreams !!!!!!!
