Morning lady bumps
Well I didn't get much sleep last night at all and am knackered today so just posting quickly before I go for a lie down as I have a hair appt this afternoon at 2pm......
Had my 34 week scan this morning and the Alien is on course for the proposed date of landing dependent on whether or not the pod lets him out (I'm in a strange mood today so ignore me after you have giggled lol) MW is referring me to physio for the carpal tunnel again so hopefully this time I can get my acupuncture and get it sorted out
MI3 good luck and I'm not crossing anything just sending you labour vibes xxxxx
Edited to add that antenatal classes were quite scary last night as they were talking about complications etc and hubby just didn't want to be there as he sees it as TMI the poor thing, but at the same time it was a giggle lol
Can't think of anything else other than labour vibes to anyone else in need and bug hugs all round xxxxxThe pod landed and produced baby Timothy on 10th March 20110 -
Morning ladies.
I had an awful night sleep last night, just couldn't get comfy. Now off to the Doctors with suspected SPD, will update you later x0 -
What a nightmare morning I have had. Went off to get Anti D injection at hospital, managed to get really lost as first sat nav took me to wrong place and then all the roads seemed to be closed. My petrol was also extremely low which was panicking me , managed to get there 15 mins late. Paid £4 parking. Got taken in and told that my blood results weren't in so they couldn't give me it as i might have antibodies in my blood. So now have had to come back home and have to ring at half 2 and if they have results have to go back in.
I am so glad my work are so understanding or I would have a real problem.
Hope everyone i having a better day than me.
Digital - hope doctors goes ok.
RBG - glad the scan went well.
Giz - my OH does late and night shifts but his shift pattern always changes so he does two earlys, two lates, two nights and then 4 days off. It isn't very nice being on your own but just try and relax and hopefully it will all work out.0 -
I took everyone's advice on Monday and went straight home. OH even came and picked me up from the station so I didn't have to struggle up the hill. Didn't get much sleep that night because it was quite painful.
However, went to my Tai Chi class last night and it feels so much better. I'm not stiff anymore, still got a pain in my right hip but not as bad. Def gonna stick with the Tai Chi for as long as possible, it's supposed to have lots of benefits as an exercise during pg.
Labour vibes and hugs for those that need them.0 -
Hi all,
sorry ive not posted in a while. I am not right. Cant explain it just feel awful. Exhausted, teary, lethargic, demotivated
getting stuff done around th ehouse due to nesting urges but just not feeling happy about it. Got a pretty bad cold now too luckily ds1 is such a good boy and very independant he doesnt mind just sitting playing and amusing himself as I dont think I could cope if he was needing my attention 24-7.
He has however developed a rather odd obsession with the black eyed peas. We have watched "pump it" a few too many times this morning in the end I had to turn it off.
Got a moses basket from freegle last night (cant remember who suggested freegle to me but thank you so much!!) Its a nice one blue and yellow checks and a rocking stand. had decided was deffo not buying one due to ds1 being in it for 1 week only due to size so was just looking out for a free one so im v impressed - just gotta find a mattress for it now and then thats that.
Did not sleep at all last nightand Im in a lot of pain - back, abdimon and inside my bits (sorry for the tmi) Im hoping that ds1 will have a nap soonish then I might try to get a bath and relax for a little while.
Congrats on the new babys and good luck to mit
Oh and deal alert - went to Tesco yesterday they got a lot of offers on at the mo I bought a box of huggies pure wipes - 9 packs in there for £7!!! dunno if thats of use to anyone? Theres also lots of offers on nappies etc too but dont knwo how long their running that for.
The other thing if anyone is looking for a sensitive washing substance(esp for washing babies clothes in)? - I heard that Surcare is alright so I had a look and Tesco have 2 for 4.50 (its 20 washes in each bottle) Its non bio liquid and Ive done a couple of washed and its worked fine - cleaned everything ok and has not irritated my skin - which was the problem. Ive not tried it on whites yet but I will and keep everyone posted.
My skin has been terrible recently so im hoping this will ease up the itching and dry skin.I, not events, have the power to make me happy or unhappy today. I can choose which it shall be. Yesterday is dead, tomorrow hasn't arrived yet. I have just one day, today, and I'm going to be happy in it.

How annoying for you!
I was told to call the delivery suite at the hospital first as the results of the bloods would go there first before I ventured down to the hospital - it's a shame they didn't give you the option to call first - hope it gets sorted today for you x0 -

Woooo for MI3.... Let's hope you'll have bubs with you soon!
Sequeena - I was genuinely appalled to read how they treated you at the hospital. You have every right to complain and ask for a scan or doppler. I would honestly call into the maternity unit and explain everything. I hope you get your scan/doppler and it puts you at ease.
Well, I have to go see the midwife at 14.00 and have to say I am not looking forward to it. I keep getting worried that something has happened to bubs and it's not okay. I guess it's just general pregnancy worriesWhat actually happens at the 16 week appointment? Does the MW do a doppler?
Ooooh loose women are discussing whether men could handle pregnancy as well as women later. Should be an amusing watch :PA-Z Challenge: ABCDEFGHIJKLMNOPQRSTUVWXYZ
Good Luck to all who comp!

Aw Anni sorry you are feeling so carp, I had noticed you hadn't been around.
Hope you feel better soon hun x
Well I have just received a letter from tax credits regarding phone call to them last week explaining that DH had changed jobs and had an increase in wages. Well obviously I never explained myself properly as I have got the new details here and they have entered our whole joint income for the year under DH's! :wall::doh: They have overestimated our income for the year by nealy £10k :rotfl:
I'm not even going to bother phoning back, it can get sorted in April when we can give them an accurate figure. The good news is that we don't owe them anything which I was worried about and our CTC's will increase by about £20 for the next couple of months.
Ladies when you have your babies, ctc's are brilliant for that extra wee bit of money but it is soooo complicated!"That's no reason to cry. One cries because one is sad. For example, I cry because others are stupid, and that makes me sad."0 -
Thanks Galvanizer. Is annoying they couldn't have warned me before!
Pixie - at 16 week they did my urine, blood pressure, had a bit of a feel to see where uterus was up to and also used doppler to hear heartbeat which was lovely.0
