Morning! Well I got just over 6 hours sleep, which isnt bad considering. Now just need to hang around until Morrison's opens at 8am and I will go and get my shopping, then might have time for a wee nap later on this morning.lol. Mr Sharkey is now on the plane hopefully and from what I can see his flight is going to get to London a bit earlier than scheduled which is good as he always dilly dallys around and I had visions of him missing his flight to Glasgow.lol.
Checked my lotto ticket from last night and I won a £10 so will treat myself to breakfast at the cafe before I start my shopping.lol. Sorry RBG that you were still up in the wee small hours.
Coops - hope he rest of your shift goes ok.

Looks like I should've given up at 3am and come down and logged on for some company. I always think that if I lie there long enough I might just go back to sleep. Wishful thinking!
Got woken up at 2am with stomach cramps and backache which have persisted all night. It's either wind, consitpation (tmi?), baby sitting funny or ........
They seem to have calmed down a bit now that I'm downstairs, so I'll see how things go today. Am hoping it's wind or constipation to be honest as they can be sorted relatively easily.
Might watch some rubbish on tv for a bit, then take DH a coffee. Then I'll blitz the house. Having cramps has made me realise that I NEED to get things done asap.

Coops and RBG, I also couldn't do without this thread. I was apprehensive when moving over after 12 weeks. But everyone has been friendly and it's nice still being with the girls from the <12 w thread that I was with at the same time and seeing how we are all doing.
It also great seeing girls that have been here for months giving birth to beutiful babies. I feel I know them iykwim?
Even though this is my 3rd baby I still pick so much advice and tips. I hope I can pass on some useful info too.
Sharkey, I can almost feel you excitement. So glad your hubby is coming home. I spent the last 2 years of and on living apart from OH and it's so hard, but great when your on your way to meet them from the airport etc.
Hngrymummy, keep us posted on these cramps. I don't think you can ever be fully ready for the baby coming. I'd write a list of things that really need to be done asap. Separate it into you and hubby and give it to him later. It's lovely he wants to help you, but not much help if you need holes filling etc that you can't do.
Coops,I'm also going to miss Cutterby. It's sad to see someone leave a thread because they felt their posts were overlooked. Hope she pops back on sometimes.
This is a very busy thread. And admit I like it that way. More people=more info and advice and more babies
Right I'm off to have some breakfast. I've been having urges to bake recently. I'm making a lemon merangue tart for pudding later.:santa2::xmastree::santa2:0 -

Well I just woke up.lol. I lay down on the couch to watch a documentary that I had taped and have just woke up, so I must have needed the sleep.
HM - Ive also been getting alot of cramps and backache but they seem to disappear once I start doing something so I wonder if its maybe just the way that bubs is lying. Well hopefully as like you I still have so much in the house still do do but I am not going to stress myself out about it too much, baby wont care if there is some bits and bobs still to be done. Dont think we will ever prepared for the big impact on our lives that they are going to have on us.
NIC - The feeling is amazing but I know that on my way to the airport every single traffic light will turn to red on my way there.lol. Last time I was late in picking him up for that reason.lol. Your cake sounds amazing, I wish I could bake, but I'm not so good at that sort of thing and I wish I could be, I love Victoria Sponge cake so maybe I will try it this week.
Alamaya - Glad you are starting to feel bubs more, mine was really lazy and would only kick when I put my hand on my belly- whenever DH tried she stopped straight away.lol.
Coops = Hope you have a good sleep. x[/COLOR] Starting the new year in a good way cooking baby sharkeybabe no2:j:j0 -
Sorry coops and RBG I let the side down and fell asleep. No change for MIL this morning, except the district nurses have managed to lose some morphine!
Going to have a bath and try to reclaim the house. Sooo much to do, if DH isn't home soon I am going to struggle. Please do not confuse me with other gratefulsforhelp. x0 -
