sharkeybabe wrote: »Well ladies & bumps - Baby Sharkey's nursery is all finished, now just need a baby to put in the room now.lol. Cant remember who asked about how much money we had spent on baby stuff, but I am estimating that we have spent nearly £1500!! and my dad bought me the pram, I now need to cut my spending down or else I'm gonna have a lovely baby nursery but no electricity or food.lol.
are you feeling a bit calmer now? did you speak to oh? I cant imagine hell mind coming home early once he gets there the excitement will be far better
in terms of spending I have currently spent about £60 (49.99 was on the steraliser!!) lol luckily all of ds1's is in perfect condition Just gotta get a breastpump then im good to go.
Have decided to wait for baby before getting the moses basket as since after ds1 I dont want to spend money on it if its going to be the same issue with it only being in it for a few days - may well opt for a small travel cot instead to plonk downstairs.I, not events, have the power to make me happy or unhappy today. I can choose which it shall be. Yesterday is dead, tomorrow hasn't arrived yet. I have just one day, today, and I'm going to be happy in it.

I realised last night the thing I'm most scared about in regards to labour is the possibility that I might....*ahem* defecate during it as I hear that some people do. I mean what will the midwifes do if that happens?! Sorry... it's a bit of a TMI question.
I did, the MW wiped my bum and i was in so much pain i didn't care where i was pooing :rotfl:LilacPixie wrote: »
yes they shove finger up bum to make sure you have no anal tears. By that time the baby is out so you are very aware of it... well i was
I also got a paracetomal shoved up there, it hurt so much.
Im requesting no fingers up bums this time, the thought makes me feel sick
Meh, i feel sick today. I had a cup a soup at 12ish and 2 chicken burgers at 2ish. And now im stuffed so i cant have dinner
I made room for a chocolate button yogurt which was reduced at the co-op though, hehehe0 -

Yes I am feeling much calmer now, just confused with the whole set up, feel a bit let down by my MW if im honest but hey ho nothing can do about it. Im talking to DH at the moment and I think he is quite happy to be coming home earlier than expected, he was getting a bit peeved off being so far away and I think becoz I was getting into such a state abou things he wants to be at home just incase something does happen early. So spose today has been a good day overall. Will be nice to have him home so that we can spend some time together before bubs comes. Also have some jobs for him to do as well.lol

Hello Ladies
Bought travel cot and sterlizer today, so I've not got that much more to get.
On the subject of changing bags, is there any reason to get a proper changing bag or can I just use a big bag I already have?Baby Ice arrived 17th April 2011. Tired.com! :j0 -
