I get the dry mouth thing too Teenie. I have a galss of water next to the bed and I have a sip each time Io wake up (which is often!) not too much though as it makes the trips to the loo more often!
I sympathise about the weight too, 16 pounds on here! Need to just eat my meals and not all the other carp!
Hope everyone is OK and we get some baby news soon. Labour vibes and a poke to MV lol
Think i will just need to take a cup of water to bed then.......well not literally to bed LOL!
So ice no more chocolate oranges then:D
LOL hngry sounds like we are the same with liquids, I went through about 3 weeks when i felt fine and could drink anything but feel like Im back to square one at the mo as far as thirst/sickness is concerned. I'm not sure if I may be coming down with a cold or something though as my throat was really sore last night and I do feel a teeny wee bit stuffy so that could be the problem at the mo.
Lablover that sounds really painful hun, hope your ok. Bubs should be ok, I've fallen down the stairs twice now and did more harm to myself I think. Keep an eye on your headaches though and if they get worse get it checked out. ((hugs))"That's no reason to cry. One cries because one is sad. Woke up about 3.30, went to the toilet and I had a bit of pinky colour when I wiped (sorry for TMI), so not sure if that may be the beginning of something..??

Im feeling a lot better thanks Teenie for asking.
Feeling a bit more positive and settled. Ive also been planning our trips down for family visits and them coming up.
I think it was just post Christmas blues.
Teenie and fanta, have you seen how far up the list we are ? We seemed to be in a wee group at the bottom for ages. April seems very close now.
Welcome over Apricot
BBM I understand why you must be so anxious. But your feeling your wee wriggler so it will all be fine. The 20 week scan is great as they take a lot longer over it than the quick 12 week one.:santa2::xmastree::santa2:0 -
Thanks for all your replies , Ive looked on Dr google and for once its good.Says that baby is very well protected and unless I was really badly hurt it should be fine. So not going to bother phoning midwife.Im clumsy as it is but my balance has gone to pot. Well I dont know if anyone remembers me posting about my OH getting paid off. He took the plunge and decided to go self employed (he has own tools and van and has been S/E before) anyhoo if you remember me saying that he had thought the company was going bad for a while so put word out for some work. Well he is now totally booked up untill March , possibly working weekends aswell , and had to actually turn work away last night , so happy as he had some debt that he really wanted to clear b4 bubs arrived(he had to take money out or savings account , so not debt to the bank or c/c just me lol ) so looks like he will pay that off in no time and get a little more tucked awayThanks to MSE for making it possible for me save to buy my new flat , yay !!

I was looking at the list the other day and I have climbed up to 60something  I was 93 for aggeeesss. It is coming round very quickly.
That is fantastic news LL, keeps the pressure off for a wee while. Fingers crossed it continues!"That's no reason to cry. One cries because one is sad. For example, I cry because others are stupid, and that makes me sad."0 -

I just read that as "was it a big jellyfish" :rotfl:didnt have a clue what you were on about!"That's no reason to cry. One cries because one is sad. For example, I cry because others are stupid, and that makes me sad."0 -
I haven't had my flu jab and wasn't going to, my concern was the fact that it's so new there are no children who's mother had it while pregnant with them. So there is no 2 year old plus children to check they have no developmental problems etc.
My plan was not to have it unless I heard of friends, neighbours, work colleagues etc saying someone they knew had it then the risk would be too high and I'd get it.
Am I being over cautious or irresponsible? does anyone know anything to refute my "too new no children who've had it" worry?AKA: PC

For some reason I keep sleeping with my mouth open (don't have a blocked nose or anything so not sure why, and I don't usually) and that is not helping things. I used to drink 2 ltrs water every day plus cups of tea, but I really can't manage that now without throwing it up so wondered if this had anything to do with the dryness at night????
BBM, do you think it's because you're tired you're feeling low? I know it can make me quite miserable when I'm tired...
MV, hope things get moving in the right direction for you
I'm feeling a little miffed at one of my friends from church (completely my problem, not hers)... She's a few days overdue and she's commented on facebook that she heard it was easier to give birth if you've had an active pg so she's worked out / walked miles every day... I'm sitting here feeling crappy because I walked back from the midife yesterday a whole 0.3 miles away (according to google) and I couldn't move for the whole of the rest of the afternoon and my back is still agony today... I'd love to be active but it hurrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrtsPlus, this morning I've had a terrible sharp pain along the side of my bump that I think is the ligaments stretching... It's mostly gone now but it's been a very uncomfortable morning!
Oh, and the flu jab saga continues... I fetched the script while I was at the midwives yesterday... Hubby thought he might have a ring around to find somewhere that had some in... The only place was Asda and they only had a handfull, wouldn't put one away for him and it was first come first served so they recommended he go in asap... He worked till 5:30, a 90min commute away and I had the script at home... I rang my Mum to see if she would run me down there but she's not great at things like that.. She will never do a favour without 24hrs notice... So after a few tears, I had the brainwave of ordering a taxi and sending it down to meet hubby at Asda with the script... That went well and he took it in... Only for the pharmacist to tell him that the Drs have put the wrong thing on the script and they couldn't legally dispense it without talking to the Dr first... Which was obviously closed because it was 6:50pm! She did say she would keep 1 to one side and ring the Drs about it today so fingers crossed that will be sorted... And my Mum's 24hr notice period will be up so she's coming over to take me to fetch it... And then I'm going to (shock horror) go into the Drs while I have her there to give me a lift and ask to see a Dr/Nurse without an appointment... They should be obliging considering all the trouble they've caused!A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...My Fathers Daughter wrote: »Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

Is anyone else getting/using a quinny for bubs? My SIL bought the quinny speedi and maxi-cosi car sear and carrycot for her baby then when he was around 1 she sold the speedi and carrycot and bought a quinny buzz because she wanted baby to face inward and outward( i might have got models mixed up ) anyway nephew started walking 3 weeks later and she ended up just getting an easy fold cheapy buggy. Anyhoo she has offered us the new quinny and car seat (she doesnt drive so this was hardly used ) and my parents are going to buy the carrycot for it. See the isofix base you can buy does that last more than one car seat? i.e does it fit the next size up car seat? Was thinking of getting the base but if its only going to the 1st car seat then I wont bother. Thanks to MSE for making it possible for me save to buy my new flat , yay !!

I'm the same krystal. When I walk anywhere now it's a huge effort and I really ache afterwards.
I know I should be trying to keep fairly active as it may help bring on labour, but I feel exhausted most of the time and walking about in this cr a ppy weather just isn't appealing!
Well nothing more to report from here. Just had a snooze as I was up at silly o clock and now contemplating going for a nice warm shower.
I'm meeting a friend at her house for coffee later, she only lives locally so I shall walk to hers, it's something I guess!
Hugs for all those feeling low..I think it's part and parcel of the territory though. Darn those rampaging hormones!Metranil dreams of becoming a neon,You don't even take him seriously,How am I going to get to heaven?,When I'm just balanced so precariously..0
