  • ..oop 'morning' RBG!

Hope you manage to get some sleep too.

I daren't go into the kitchen to make a drink as the cats will be up and wanting feeding, and then will probably poo in their litter tray or something equally horrible!

Oh poor MV that's the last thing you need this morning....ok fingers crossed (whilst inside my sexy little splint lol) and extra vibes on their way to you for an appearance by bubs for you very soon.....try and get some rest again yourself, I have been told the first y6 weeks will be the most difficult although it can take maybe 3-4 months to establish a proper routine (this wasn't what I wanted to hear lol)

Going to put the head down before the lizards start running around their tank, their lights have just came on and it only takes them 10o minutes to realise someone is in the room and then they want out to run around the floor so start head banging the glass (hmmmmm that sounds quite bizzare now that I have typed it, lol) am rambling so will catch you later

    ((('hugs))) RBG and MV

MV - Could the pinky stuff be your show? I'm sure I read in my book that t could be like pinky discharge and that's how my sister started before her waters broke.

RBG - Yay for only half day at work. At least you haven't got long now til ML - there is light at the end of the tunnel! Was your Parentcraft class really 5 hours?? That seems rather long?!

You're both offline so I hope you're managing to catch some zzzzzzzz's

I started to drop off but then the downstairs smoke alarm was going crackers, but no fire. So then I didn't want to fall asleep in case anything happened lol. Don't know why it was going off - I would say it need new batteries - but our smoke alarms run off the mains so goodness knows.

Right, best get in the shower and walk the dog. And now its raining :(

    Take care ladies x
  • Morning Ladies. I had an awful nights sleep as well. First my room was too cold so I shut the window then it was too hot, so I had to open the window.lol. Up and down all night. If I had known some of you girls were having a wee party I would have joined in.lol.

My work called me yesterday and said they were really struggling without me there and have asked me to go in for a couple of hours today to help them get out of the mess they have got themselves into, I said yes, but now that I have got up this morning feeling shattered and have also realised that my cot is being delivered today, I really just want to stay at home, but heyho. I suppose its good for me in a way that they need me to go in, shows them exactly how hard my job is, when before they said that I was complaining about nothing. I will work for a few hours today and then see how things go. They are gonna be paying me time and a half as well, so if im up for it, might as well save a wee bit extra money. I havent really been doing much during my maternity leave anyways apart from lazying about in the house with my pjs on.hehe

Hope everyone is ok today. xxx

    Morning lovely ladies xxx

RBG *hugs*, my partner in crime, sorry you're still not sleeping. If it's any consolation neither am I. :(

Me, the sofa and a sleeping bag are becoming quite well aquainted! I refrained from having a nap all day yesterday and was dead beat, but nope!

MV sounds like the pinky stuff is a sign of things moving. Fingers crossed! :j

I got used to night feeds etc with DD, quite looked forward to watching Heir Hunters at 3.00am!! :D Only thing that threw me and OH was colic! Nightmare. Changed her milk (none of the colic medicines worked for her) and peace was restored. But yes, it's all about routine, and after the shock of a little person crashing the party :D you soon fall into one.

Sorry you're feeling poo Sammy. Hope you're better today x

Wonder if Lillian is having her mummy cuddles this morning! :A

Hope everybody else is fit and well. xxx

Welcome to Insomniacs Anonymous Sharkey :( xx. Think it's a bit cheeky of them asking you to go in, sounds like my old place, useless! Don't make a habit of it young lady, you're meant to be putting your feet up.

  • Thanks Hitchins, I did mention to them before Xmas if they were really struggling that I would come in for a couple of hours, i work in a hotel so a pretty much 24 hour job, but the good thing is that I wont have half as much responsibility now when I go in and on the brightside my boss has promised me a cupcake for going in.lol. So to be honest that is the only reason.lol. Im hoping that the work will maybe give me a proper sleep tonight. I done the same and didnt have a nap yesterday as thought it would make me sleep better but it didnt. xx

Hitchins, i also used to look forward to night time telly when feeding. I realised early that sitting in the dark just made me nod off. I used to keep the lights off but my cave was Monarch of the Glen which was on around 3am.
This time I'll be saving stuff on sky plus for night time feeds. It doesn't seem so long and I was willing to sit longer and not hurry baby up.

Well I had my flu jag yesterday and it was fine. When did the sore arm start? Mines not sore yet.I've had no side effects so far, hopefully that's it. My mum and mil will be happy that I've had it.

  • Nic - you probably won't get a sore arm - I didn't either - well only if I pressed on it to see if it was sore :D

ok..well just had an interesting trickle of something run down my leg ..just a trickle mind, so rushed to the loo and nothing more.

so not sure if that could be my waters starting to go, or just some cm'y stuff.

it's hard to tell, it didn't look like cm..auugh!

so have got back into bed (on a towel!) and think i will just rest up a bit for now.

no more pinky stuff either..this whole thing is a mindfield!!!!

Me too. It was like when you got the rubella jab at school. Didn't really hurt unless somebody punches you in it. Thankfully, there's not much call for punching pregnant women nowadays!

Back to the grindstone....I seem to recover on the uncomfyness over night and probably by tea time I'll be back to it again. Hey ho. Que sera sera! :D

5 days to viability. 3 weeks on friday to 3d/4d scan :D

Have a lovely day lady bumps x

MV - thankfully I got a heads up from one of my colleagues to say that they were gonna call me, so I spoke with Mr Shark and he told me not to go in unless they were gonna pay me half decent, so when boss called I told her, I would only work if I got time and a half for any work done and they accepted that so they must have been desperate :Dwhich has given me great satisfaction.lol. Hope things start moving along for you MV.xx
