  • Feeling really low this week & just can't snap out of it. I'm worried about the 20 week scan next week, after having 3 miscarriages I really want to know everything is OK. Daft thing is the baby is a real wriggler & has a big kick on it, it's clearly growing well but I'm still worrying. When I think logically I really have no reason to feel this low. The pregnancy is now going well, DS is as adorable as ever, everyone around me is well & they are ticking along just fine. I could do with more sleep but then so could most of us. Someone knock some sense in to me please...

    Morning Ladies,

I've been reading this thread since I found out I was pregnant so feel like I know you all already! I've had insomnia the last few nights - hope it doesn't last the rest of the pregnancy as Im miserable as sin today!

    Hello BBM
I remember you from the other thread with all your probs with the bleeding - I've had 2 miscarriages in the past and have had the same sort of on/off bleeding with this pregnancy so I'm the same as you - worried about everything.:(
I'm worried about just about anything and everything and did the same when pregnant with both my children.
STOP WORRYING! :D that's what people say to me anyway - course doesn't make the blindest bit of difference!
Good luck for the scan (have mine middle of next month) and I will be worrying just as much as you if it's any consolatiion :o

Morning everyone, Wow MV it sounds like things are going , my SIL had her show on monday and waters broke on the wednesday, lucky for her she was standing on a towel after just coming out the shower. Ive got this fear that mine will either go in tesco (hardly ever shop there ?lol or at my work ) Anyhoo have a question for all you ladies , I slipped and fell yesterday and landed on my side, have massive bruise on my knee and side of thigh. Felt fine all last night, then when I was walking to car this morning I slipped and fell again , this time I went up in the air and came crashing back down on head and bum (my glasses went flying off , totally blind without them so had to crawl along car park to look for them ) My head is thumping and my back is a little sore but no other damage , do you think everything will be okay? Ive got my 16 week appointment next week , so could just mention it then ?
Thanks to MSE for making it possible for me save to buy my new flat , yay !!

Hi Lablover nice to "see" you too!

Falls sound painful - maybe give midwife a ring if you are concerned although Im sure bubs is well protected in there!

if your worried then tell midwife, or why not send her a text and just say whats happened.

i remember falling when i was 8 m preg with my second. i stepped out back door and mis-judge step, so although i only fell down two steps i fell awkwardly and twisted as i fell. i had a huge bruise down my side and massive graze down my belly where i fell against the wall. i think it shakes you up more than anything. i did contact midwife , and she offered me to go on ward for the day for monitoring . but baby was moving loads and i felt fine. as previous poster said baby's are well protected in there. But we all need reassurance sometimes.
