I told a couple of a my best friends straight away but was so hard keeping it from other people. They were people who I knew would be supportive whatever happened.

I only told family and very close friends too at the beginning until the 12 week scan.

I think i would feel odd telling my friends before my parents, but i knoe the MIL can't keep her mouth shut and it would be all over town before i knew it, so not wanting to tell her until we've had the scan adn i'm ready to tell work.

I told some of my closest friends before I told my parents because I wanted to be able to speak to people at work if anything went wrong (thank God it didn't) - I told my parents at 8 weeks because I was going home for a weekend and knew I wouldn't be able to keep it from them! We didn't tell OH's parents until we'd had the scan though.

A girl I work with was induced with her second because of low birth weight-in fact they felt he was losing weight. She had no problems with the labour and he was 5lb something but her first was little too (she is very petite). Not sure if this helps you

It does thanks, when I ask about the possibility of an early or due date induction they just say we'll see how things go, which is obvious I'm not after definates but possibilities would be useful. I was starting my mat leave late but I think I should'nt now and should give myself a few weeks.

Speaking of dreams I've been having weird ones involving soap characters in one Nick Tilsley was my brother?! (I don't watch Corrie, and don't have any feelings for Nick good or bad)
Second one I was a Landlord of a rental flat and Janine Butcher was my tenant. Wierd?!

Hello Laides. Well I am back to feeling awful today. I slept for 12 hours last night (sorry) got up at 9am and was up for a couple of hours before I was absaloutley (sp) exhausted again, just had a 2 hour nap and really feel awful now. Going to call my midwife in the morning because I really dont think this is right, I cant be so tired when I have done nothing at all. Having a really crappy day.

Sharkey, you have my sypathies hun, I get like that too, that I could sleep and sleep but the more I sleep the worse I feel. Couple that with the fact that I get uncomfortable lying down too means I'm all over the place!

Well in last night's dream I was back at boarding school. But the landscape and stuff wasn't anything like it. And Sophia Bush (who plays brooke davis in One tree hill) was my best friend. It was odd.

Yeah even if they said we definately wont let you go beyone your due date, you might have some idea.
