I remember first discovering my pregnancy and we were both on the less than thread, doesnt seem that long ago and now you are ready to be a mum, which means I dont have much longer either. I am wishing you all the very best with everything. Hoping that you can at least enjoy your roast first
I really miss that with DH being away - he aways made a big fuss of me on a Sunday. I havent made a roast since he went away, but he's back in 4 weeks time so hopefuly that will start up again
Aww thanks Sharkey. It's been great going through TTC and pregnancy, the highs and the lows, with ladies on these boards. It's been a fantastic support network.
Nope not long for you either! I'm not sure if I'm ready to be a mum! We're practically ready, but I guess the proof of the pudding etc...:rotfl:
Still I guess we'll all find out sooner or later. Pregnancy and I'm sure child birth and motherhood will be a fantastic/crazy experience for us all. I hope to see some famillar faces back on here in the not so distant future again expecting their 2nd (or more!)Metranil dreams of becoming a neon,You don't even take him seriously,How am I going to get to heaven?,When I'm just balanced so precariously..0 -

Not sure who mentioned the swelling of the hands but my obstretician says that blood vessels are more dilated during pregnancy and blood flows more freely (thus why I have been pretty much free from raynauds disease this winter). Also towards the end of pregnancy, I read that women can get oedema which is swelling of the hands and/or feet due to fluid retention. There's some more information here:
http://www.babycentre.co.uk/pregnancy/antenatalhealth/physicalhealth/swollenhandsandfeet/
I've literally been sitting reading all the magazines and books I got in my packs and remembered it was mentioned in one. Also, on a show on tv, a pregnant lady had oedema and she did some acupuncture for it so maybe acupuncture helps? I guess your doctor can help you if it gets uncomfortable though.A-Z Challenge: ABCDEFGHIJKLMNOPQRSTUVWXYZ

Isn't it fantastic? I can now get the ice cream out of the freezer myself rather than having to make someone else do it. I can also rummage in the fridge for longer than 10 seconds. :T
Cinnamon biscuits sound so yummy right now... Might have to go see what treats there are in the cupboards!A-Z Challenge: ABCDEFGHIJKLMNOPQRSTUVWXYZ
