Well though I'd better check in here, in case any of you thought I was on the labour ward! But no, all quiet on the western front.

Went to my local Mothercare yesterday hoping to get nursing bras but they only had sales tat in odd sizes. Unfortunately, I think I'm going to have to face going into town to a proper bra shop to even attempt to get one in my size.

Today we had some friends from ante-natal class over for lunch - all the boys are already on no-drinking orders, so I think OH has got the message he was a very bad boy on Friday. He's certainly being very attentive off me this evening.

Mine said last night that he thought women who gave birth were totally amazing. Which would have been fab if I were one of those women. Unfortunately it isn't possible for me to give birth naturally. I had to force myself to not be irrational about it and he didn't mean any harm. Which of course he didn't because I know he'd never think badly of me.

Sadly, hormones today have meant it's been on my mind a lot. Trying not to be stupid tbh as I am just being irrational. His ex gave birth to his beautiful daughter naturally which only feeds my insecurities.

Stupid, stupid hormones.

My MIL called me a baby machine the other night on the phone to OH. She meant in a nice way as I've been lucky and had straightforward pregnancies, especially compared to SIL.
I was shocked at first at their little joke but I'm taking it as a compliment.
