I bought 0-3 mainly and one pack of newborn from Sainsburys. I bought the Loved and Adored essentials set for coming home from the hospital but it's 0-3....they didn't have any newborn ones. Haven't a clue what size bubs I'll have.

More weird memorable dreams last night. I was planning a reunion with my old work (where I met with DH) and about freezer space. !!!!!!!??

Was gonna go for a shop today but not until I've moved the Christmas tree out. It's been stripped of decorations off it before we went away so technically it's just a tree. Just relaxing (both) with a brew and laptops before I motivate myself. Work tomorrow....haven't been there since 20th December so talk about culture shock! On the plus side there's only 3 pages of emails now as I logged in yesterday. I also had an email from HR asking if I'd filled out the when I would like to leave form as they had got my MATB1 form. Needs to be filled in before the 14th EWC. OMG I Have 14 weeks of work left (including Easter break of 2 weeks off).

Can't believeMV is top of the list! Welcome pipersky and congrats too.

pipersky welcome! I have two girls and this is baby number three also.

Had a bizarre Dr Who-as-a-metaphor-for-God nightmare last night where I was a robot and he was switching me off, permanently. Woke up with a ginormous and unheard of panic attack.

Hope I don't have that dream again!

Just come back from Mothercare! Wow they have a fantastic sale on. Sleepsuit packs are buy one get one half price as well as vest packs. So that's covered the 0-3 and 3-6 months! YAY!

I saw a cot there for like £50 too! :eek: Hubby liked the antique pine one though but luckily that came with a half price mattress so we got a bargain either way with that. Moses basket bought too so that's all the big stuff bought now!!! Decided on the Advent Microwave steraliser which was reduced to £13 and the newborn Advent bottle set which was half price at £11 (includes 4 bottles and other stuff).

Just small stuff that I can get in bits and bobs left to get now! Still deciding on blankets and sheets but i'm pretty sure I can get better prices on those anyhow. I want to wait until Feb 7th to have a double check on the sexing at my next scan before I buy more blue stuff. But I couldn't resist the blue vests with I love mummy and I love Daddy on them! Even if bubs turns out to be a girl she'll wear them underneath lol! Pretty much sticking to white for everything else for now.

MV - Not long to go now! You must be about ready to burst in the patience department! Hold out 3 more days!

Princess - i've been booked in for a further 2 growth scans. Based purely on the fact that my DS was a 7 pounder and my DD was almost 9 pounds in weight. So for some bizarre reason (not going off scan measurements just on that history) they are giving me 2 more scans to keep an eye on bubs' weight gain. That's a bit weird for me but i'm not gonna turn down 2 more scans lol!

I've worked out i'm at the hospital every month now until bubs is born. Midwife in between too! :eek: Because of that fact I think the time is just going to fly by! That's a scary thought! Bit worried about all the time i'll have to have off for it as I'm Self Employed and therefore don't get paid for time off. Oh well. Whatever bubs needs I suppose.

Labour vibes to those that need them (not for you MV - i'm still hoping you'll drop on my Birthday!) and big hugs to anyone that needs them!

A girl I work with was induced with her second because of low birth weight-in fact they felt he was losing weight. She had no problems with the labour and he was 5lb something but her first was little too (she is very petite). Not sure if this helps you

Aw RBG thought you had cracked the sleeplessness, looks like there were a few of us up last night, so annoying isn't it!! My problem is that i go to bed then things start buzzing around my head and then I try and solve it while trying to sleep, it's so silly I should know better!

Hi Lady Bumps......

Well went back to bed this morning about 9am and managed to sleep until about 12pm so don't feel as bad now. Am glad I was up early this morning as my best friend's hubby's grandad died at 6am in Holland and she was quite upset so I was able to be there for her at least on the phone so maybe that was the reason I couldn't sleep although I was quite sore too. Hugs to all those insomniacs......we should have a code for when we are all up lol

I feel as though bump is actually physically stretching atm as I am in my maternity jeans with a little bump but they seem to feel as though they are getting tighter by the minute :S anyone else had this feeling

Ok hubby has made dinner early as I have told him I am having trouble eating big meals at night and he has actually taken this into account so am going to go and have my fish and chips

I was having really bizarre dreams but they seem to have stopped now.

I too get the go to bed tired but as soon as I lie down things start running through my head then I'm wide awake again!

I'm working 4 days a week from this week until I go on mat leave, YEY! Having Wednesday's off to break the week up. I don't think I could cope with the stress of work and the tiredness 5 days straight each week.
