pixie my doppler came yesterday (im 11+3 atm) I can't find a heartbeat yet and I tried for ages. It does say you won't be able to find it until at least 12 weeks but on lots of other forums people report finding it as early as 9 weeks.
Tbh I sort of wish I hadn't bought it nowIm panicking a bit that I haven't found it even though midwives wouldn't even attempt to use it this early (I don't think they try until 16 weeks).

Regarding the baby's movements, I have noticed a lot more activity recently. Not kicks but just sensations. Looks like I just have a lazy one, like its father
Aw glad you are starting to feel something
I was just watching the DVD I got with my Bounty pack, I forgot about it until Sarahangel was asking, I was sitting here crying remembering what it was like breastfeeding my DD, it is so special! It's just as well I'm pregnant!!!! I can't wait to meet my wee one
Sarah you can let me know if you want it hun, it is pretty good."That's no reason to cry. One cries because one is sad. For example, I cry because others are stupid, and that makes me sad."0 -
I've just remembered I have not claimed my bounty pack! I had the voucher in the pack I was given with my first scan. What comes in it so is it worth claiming?Baby Ice arrived 17th April 2011. Tired.com! :j0

I was really disappointed with mine this time as i got loads more samples and vouchers when i was last pregnant.
You get some vouchers (really not much) a trial size of wipes, 1 pampers nappy (generous!) and a can of appletise. There was the DVD on b/f'ing and other leaflets. Oh and a mini dettol spray bottle."That's no reason to cry. One cries because one is sad. For example, I cry because others are stupid, and that makes me sad."0 -
A can of appletise lol. I haven't missed out on that much then. I think I will dig it out and go and get it though.Baby Ice arrived 17th April 2011. Tired.com! :j0

Teenie, don't buy gaviscon... Get it free on a script from your Dr!!
I got the baby clothes out last night... Put the 0-3 unisex stuff through the wash ready to pack my hospital bag... I couldn't believe how tiny they are... Especially when I opened a pack of size 1 nappies!! DD2 is only tiny, she's still in mostly 9-12 clothes at 20 months, but she seems massive in comparison!!A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...My Fathers Daughter wrote: »Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

Apparently every pregnant women should get a copy before 28 weeks either in the Bounty pack or from the midwife. I haven't had one but I have just read the bumf in the Bounty book. Just hope I can succeed this time round.
Thanks for your feedback annibee

The best thing to do if you really want to succeed at breastfeeding, is build a good support network around you... Find out where the local support groups are, pop down while you're still pregnant to get to know the women there... Do read up about it, but also go with what feels natural... Persevere... It is difficult in the beginning, for you and the baby... Yes it's a natural thing, it doesn't mean it comes naturally to everyone, or to every baby... You both have to learn what is expected of you...
Persevere though, and it becomes the easiest, most natural thing ever... You do it without thinking about it, and you thank goodness that you don't have to faff around making bottles at all hours of the morning because of itA very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls...
