Well i thought i could read through the book, see what i think and if i think it might suit us, then, book onto the course and try out the first class for free then go back for more if we enjoy it. All the reports i've read about it seem positive and i want my pregnancy and birth to be as enjoyable experieince as possible, so if it works then maybe it's worthe the expense.

  • Hi everyone - pretty quiet on here today. Well I took full advantage of the snow today and got my nursery painted this morning!! :) Was exhausted by the end of it though, so rewarded myself with a 3 hour nap.lol. Still need to do another coat, but I will go out tomorrow and get another tin of paint and hopefully that will do it. I need to try and find a border, but I am finding it really difficult - hardly anywhere seem to sell really nice ones and I dont want to put something on just for the sake of it. I think half my battle is because I am doing it all myself, I want to make sure that it is perfect.

I don't know what colour your nursery is so it's hard to suggest but if you search nursery borders on ebay there's some nice winnie the pooh ones and some cute safari ones. I'm sure if you were to just search borders or something you'd find something you like. Hope this helps! :)

Thanks Pixiepops - My nursery is pink (having a girl), I never thought of ebay will have to have a wee mooch about. I am thinking about doing a kinda butterfly effect if you know what I mean, the cotbed I have bought is white so once she is born, was gonna get her name stencilled on the cot in pink with some butterflies around it, but I dont know if that will look a bit naff, im not really very artistic. Thanks tho.:D

How about one of these CDs? I got my OH the Metallica one as a birthday present from the bump - it's really good!

    http://www.prezzybox.com/products/search.aspx?searchCriteria=rockabye%20baby

Also, Next had chocolate cigars in over Christmas but may not any more as I think they were Secret Santa things, worth a look though (I've picked some up for OH as he doesn't smoke).

lilian - that cd looks fab, had a look at the link and none of the bands really fit for my hubby. great idea for fans of the bands though :)
Chocolate cigar is a fab idea too thanks.

On a positive note I got my professional photo's back from the wedding and am very pleased especially as they were free. If you fancy a nosey link is here.

tickle - congrats on the wedding, had a look at the photos, you looked fab in that dress, and the pics are great. hope you are enjoying married life!!!
Awwww thats a fab idea - I may pinch that if you don't mind as OH and I were talking this morning about going away for a night or two near to Valentines day as our last couples break :)

Fairy - Pinch away!!! Hope your hubby likes it!

There was another msg with a few ideas and I thought I had multi-quoted it but doesnt seem to appear (is there a limit on how many msgs can be quoted at a time?!). Will go and have a look back for it now!

Or instead of a border Sharkey you could stencil some butterflies too. My DD would have loved butterflies in her bedroom but we can't decorate as we rent :(

    Your nursery sounds lovely :)
