Weird dreams....I had one I was sorting out the construction of the loft and discovered some steels hadn't been tied together properly. I don't even have a loft!

Thanks for all the "sexiness" on the bump. I do love it and spend hours with hands on feeling s/he move. Am pleased coz it stands up on it's own when I lie down rather than fall to the sides! I am at the "give me bd" stage but DH just taking it in his stride. ;)

Had a wonderful (albeit interupted by 6 trips to the loo) sleep last night. I put a new fitted sheet on....OMG 350 count Dorma Percale....I am converted! It was like satin it was sooooo soft. Felt like I was in a posh hotel (MSE I did get 10% off it from Dunelm Mill...no John Lewis for me). :T

Today, facial at 2pm for me and might nip to Deepdale, get a Nandos, pick up my rocking reindeer and have a browse in New Look maternity stuff but won't buy as I have overspend £260 this month

Hope you all have a fab day.

Ps. Eceolle have responded on the 12 week thread. You are a fellow worrier when really you should be enjoying being a lucky one!

Thanks for the advice - I won't take it though :o

OMG we got given the most amazing present today. It's from someone from OH's work. It's a hamper made up of a storage box full of goodies. It has a steraliser in it! I wasn't going to buy one due to breastfeeding and figuring old fashioned boiling wouldn't hurt, but now I've been given one I won't say no! It's a microwave one and comes with 2 bottles which will be handy (as only have 1 for expressing). So OH should find that easier than boiling :)

There's wipes, cotton wool, bath stuff, baby lotion, baby oil, burp cloths, flat sheets for the cotbed, rubber ducks for the bath, baby toothbrush, plug socket night light, cotton buds, disposable nappy bags (something I'd not got), teddy bear and a baby record book. We're very lucky :j

I'm going to have to thank her in some way - it's way too generous.

That's amazing, you're so lucky! She won't be expecting anything in return so don't worry - have you got time to make a nice homemade card or anything like that? Perhaps some homemade biscuits in a nice tin?
Can anyone who's had babies already tell me if very early labour feels a bit like period cramps..?

I've been having period cramps every evening for a few days now, I'd assumed it was everything moving into position so perhaps it's baby's head getting fully engaged?

My hip is really sore again today, worse than it's ever been I think - serves me right for spending all day yesterday on my ball! Saying that, I'm back on it now in the hope it might relieve it. It's my baby shower today as well so I'll have to get everyone else to do all the running round making tea! Have had three dropouts so far, one because she's got bad period pains - she should try being 37 weeks pregnant! ;)

Ecoelle- I never really had sickness, just gagged quite a bit when i woke up but would go pretty quick. My mum never had sickness with me or my sister either.

I am going to try and clear some space for the increasing baby things today.

    Morning ladies :D

I had a really good sleep last night, well except the 2 hours I was awake inbetween 2.30 and 4.30am but I then didn't wake up until 9.45am! I can't remember the last time I slept so long. Feel really refreshed for it too.
Glad you got a good sleep at last too RBG

Snow here today, it's lying but it's not too deep at the mo.

Hi, popped on again to ask a quick question. Some people seem worried about not having morning sickness, i don't have it, should i be worried? I'm about 5-6 weeks

Nah still plenty time for it to start, my sickness started at 6 weeks. If you don't have it just be grateful, a few of us on here are still chucking up ;)

MV it's natural to be scared hun. I will be too near the time and I have been through it before. You will know when you're in labour when the time comes. Do you have a tens machine at home that you can use in the early stages?
My worry is knowing when to go into hospital. I was already there when things kicked off with DD so it's knowing how long to leave it before I say ok enoughs enough.

    Oh 25 weeks today :D:D

    10lbs 4oz???? :eek::rotfl:

    Yikesy!

Teenie - no I decided against a tens in the end as a few people had told me they didn't help much.

All quiet on the western front this morning though. Going to go down to sainsburys in a bit, think a bit of a walk about may help.

You should be jumping for joy!! Mine started at 7 weeks, and only stopped recently, although I'm getting nausea again, so I'm slightly worried about a return :(

Recently I've had a lot of people tell me how healthy I'm looking compared to the green/grey colour I've had throughout the rest of the pregnancy :D It's cheered me up no end for 2 reasons - firstly that I'm now 'glowing' woop woop, and secondly that people did actually notice how rough I was and I wasn't just being pathetic :o

I do understand the worry though. On the odd day that I wasn't sick, I'd start to get worried about why.
If having different experiences, thoughts and ideas to you, or having an opinion that you don't understand, makes me a troll, then I am proud to be a 100% crying, talking, sleeping, walking, living Troll. :hello:

Does it smell like sperm? That's the no 1 tell tale sign that it's waters.

    How many weeks are you?

Yeah I craft for a hobby so I can make a card. I like the idea of making something - never made biscuits before though. I have to do something. She also bought my OH a Christmas pressie. Maybe she's trying to pull him ;)
