I have been a busy wee bunny so far today as far as baby things are concerned, still early days but I thought I should maybe at least start doing something LOl.

Went to Boots this morning and got 4 pks wipes which were BOGOF,
Breast pads, bubble bath (for me not bubs ;)) and a twin pk dummies :shhh: and used my sisters advantage card (which she gave me I'd better add LOL) so never cost me a penny :money:

After Ecoelle's post I have been looking at hypnobirthing CD's and have come across Maggie Howell's anyone any experience with it. It does get very good reviews.

Also been looking at TENS machines LLoyds have one on sale at the mo but it was all sold out. There is one on Amazon for about £26 which is suitable for labour so will look at some reviews (unless anyone can advise).

Have also been looking into washable wipes as I went through loads with DD so would obviously save a fortune. Probably wouldn't use them for dirty nappies but would be useful for wet bottoms or faces, hands etc? Again can anyone advise?

Last bit of advise I'm looking for is breast pads. I always bought Tommee Tippee pads before and they are very good but also probably the most expensive. Any advise on any others? I like TT ones as they are quite big and covered more area, their absorbancy is also pretty good.

Nic they are so cute. I am so tempted to buy but still have everything of DD's in storage so need to refrain until we see what we have and if we need to buy anything.

I have had a quick look at the Maggie Howell CD's but have already ordered this book

    http://www.bookdepository.co.uk/book/9780285637719/Hypnobirthing

So will give that a read. There is a centre near me that does 4 classes, one week for four weeks and it costs £175. If you go to the first session and don't like it you don't pay, and they'll do a payment plan for anyone who can't pay it all in one go. They have a course running in May which would fit in with my dates, but i figure i'll read through the book, see what i think then decide.

Hi everyone, hope you are all as well as can be. :A

Is anyone else craving unhealthy food?

I'm going mad for spicy curry pot noodles atm & ate 2 yesterday. :o

I hope my baby doesn't come out looking like one.

I totally understand what you mean! I'm finding it hard to eat most things but unhealthy food seems to attract me. I have to admit, I went for a sneaky mcdonalds a few days ago because I really wanted a double cheeseburger. Okay so I ended up eating 2 and drinking a large coke, which i'm sure isn't healthy. It was a one-off though so I assume I'll be fine :P Did feel quite naughty though.

Not really intending going to classes, just wanted a CD to use myself. You're wise looking into it first before paying out for classes they are quite pricey although worth it I'm sure.

when my waters broke with my dd, the pop was like a champange cork going off and the gush was everywhere. never seen anything like it, and certainly not what i imagined. of course not like this for everyone.

Aw thanks for that. I have signed up to Asda babyclub I'm sure but haven't received any e mails or anything, is that how you heard EA? Looked in tesco today for TT breast pads but they are full price at the mo.
