    Evening all!!

Feeling much better today, spend all day in bed yesterday because I just couldn't get comfortable as I had a little bum under my right rib and it was so sore, he has moved now but it still feels a bit tender.
The rest has done me the world of good apart from catching the end of Eastenders last night which was not a smart move! I turned over to watch QI without thinking and spend a good 10 minutes sobbing after Eastenders had finished.

BCS - re healthy diet. My diet has been awful compared to what it was before I was pregnant but I've only managed to put on a stone and I'm 36 weeks today.
However, I've been eating alot more since Christmas and I weighed myself this morning and I have lost 4lb, can't understand how that one has happened with all the bacon sandwiches I've been eating recently.

I've also been thinking of Twoflower, if you are lurking I am wishing you all the best xx

I'm just reading up on breastfeeding, thought I'd better get out of denial that my EDD is so far away when in reality I will probably be induced in less than 3 weeks.
I couldn't feed DD for a few reasons so I am keen to try again this time. Any tips or any good websites/books I could read or any would be appreciated!

. Also got some washable breast pads off there lol.

Yeah have been wondering about them too. I seen some today and they aren't that expensive for a box so may buy some and see how I get on. If I don't like them I haven't wasted too much money and if they do work then i will save a fortune!

Or instead of a border Sharkey you could stencil some butterflies too. My DD would have loved butterflies in her bedroom but we can't decorate as we rent :(

    Your nursery sounds lovely :)

Aw thanks Teenie, I hope she likes it, first time I have ever done anything like this so I'm pretty nervous. I'm renting as well although my landlord has been fantastic and has basically said we can do whatever we want in the house as long as any painting we do gets painted back to white if we ever move out.lol. We are hoping to be in this house for a long time, so that was one of the reasons we decided to move there.
I love our house, wish we could buy it (even better wish I had the money to buy it :rotfl:)

a superdad car sign if hes got a car

    dad keyring?

    theres loadsa stuff

oh also I cant remember where I saw it but you can get matching t shirts and babygrows like one will say "im the daddy" and one will say "im the baby" quite a cute lil gift.

thanks nic ill check them out as well

Found it!!! Thank you annibee for the suggestions. Think I will go with the photoframe and the t-shirt/babygrow then that will be everything.
Sorry to see about your bad cpl of days, hope things are getting better now.

Had my scan yday at 33 wks and was fab to see little one wriggling around in there. We have to go back for another in 2 weeks though because baby has a small stomach and they want to check it is growing ok in cpl wks. Everything else is growing normally but the stomach is about 3 weeks behind. Also, baby is breech and they want to check if he/she has turned to head down position too. If baby hasn't turned to head down position and is still high up by 37 wks they will look at booking a planned c-section... which I was quite shocked about. But hopefully all issues will be rectified at the scan at 35 wks and we will be going ahead as normal. I am more worried about it than I thought I would be but fingers crossed baby has a stomach growth spurt and turns round!!!
    Anyone had any similar experiences???

On the plus side we managed to avoid finding out the sex, so still set for a surprise on D-day :T

Oooh that's a good point. I have vinyl wall decal stickers on my wall because I rent so I couldn't paint. They're really easy to apply and they don't look naff or sticker-ish. I got these:

OH is in the doghouse today. He went out drinking last night and came home completely blotto. Left a trail of shoes, clothes etc on the way to the bedroom. I got up to tidy, so I didn't trip over them on my frequent nightly loo visits and came back to bed to find him comotosed and sprawled like a starfish. So I, at 39 weeks pregnant, had to go and sleep on the sofa

What if I had gone into labour last night - apart from the fact he would have been useless, I would have been mortified in front of the midwives.

Yes ladies, you may suggest suitable punishments ....

Hi everyone, hope you are all as well as can be. :A

Is anyone else craving unhealthy food?

I'm going mad for spicy curry pot noodles atm & ate 2 yesterday. :o

I hope my baby doesn't come out looking like one.

me :o ive been very naughty throughout and I use cravings as a kind of "eat what your bodys telling you to eat" policy lol

my current craving - and I had this with ds1 as well is for brushing my teeth!!!! Its the weirdest thing ever I had to have my toothbrush hidden last time as I nearly brushed all my teeth away lol. This time im being sensible but I actually get excited as soon as I finish my dinner in suspense of brushing them for the night :rotfl:

Ive also been going mad on lemons - havent thought to check so hope their ok to eat in pregnancy lol

Think im just craving "fresh" tastes iyswim
I, not events, have the power to make me happy or unhappy today. I can choose which it shall be. Yesterday is dead, tomorrow hasn't arrived yet. I have just one day, today, and I'm going to be happy in it.

Krystal or some of the others would be better probably to advise you. I got most of my help from my ante natal classes. I got a CD with one of my bounty packs, it's different to the CD I got with DD, which was quite helpful. I haven't looked at it yet but if you don't have one yourself I can send it to you if you would like?
