@Dusty - been to M&Ps. I asked about the warranty and despite being told last time that it would start from the pick up date, she's told me today that it's the EDD and she's put it in the computer for then. So I'm beginning to think that noone really knows and they make it up as they go along.
and everything seems OK.
.
Thanks Giz. Think I'll pop in next time I'm passing and get ours sorted.0 -

Hi All, I am 26+4 days now and ever since I hit 25 weeks my little one has been going..well mental in the womb!!
I have felt flutters from 17 weeks so always have been aware of his/her movements but out of the say 15hrs I am awake per 24, baby is kicking at least 6hrs. And I mean good hearty kicks, punches, wiggles and rolls! Then during the night I'm awoken at midnight, 2am, 4am and 6am by the kicks. When I lay on my side, baby kicks the bed so hard you can hear it. When I'm at my desk at work he/she kicks the table. When I am eating and drinking it's making me feel sick!
My friends who are 33 weeks and 15 weeks are feeling 'light kicks' once or twice a day and they eat far far more sugar than I do (my cravings are apples, milk and raw carrots).
It sounds daft but can your baby be TOO active, or does an active bump mean a restless baby once born? I sense trouble :rotfl:0 -
Wow. I was one of those with light "is the baby still alive poke poke" movements.... Maybe your placenta is out of the way and not protecting you? I never experienced the rib kicking I hear about as my placenta was both times in the way.
All I can say is... video it?:wall:0 -
Hmm, maybe! I have a midwife appointment next week so I will ask her. I had a 4D scan a fortnight ago and the sonographer couldn't get the baby to stay in one position or stop waggling it's hands and legs, she said it was the most active baby she'd ever seen (and made me crouch on all fours to try and get the baby to settle). At nearly 27 weeks baby can kick the sky remote off my tummy and high five daddy - if my husband pokes my tummy with his finger he gets an entire hand back - oddly if he pokes twice he gets two pokes back, maybe the baby can count, haha0

hey everyone, been silent for a while but popping on to let everyone know we had our anomally scan and all is well, baby looking perfect if a little too active for the technicians liking!
and although it's never 100% we're apparently team pink!!!very excited xx0 -

Vroom, I had both of these for DS, they are fine - the cot lasted better than the shiny M&P one we had, and the Ikea mattress we got is good as well. We still use the changing table for our 2yo DS, and it is still as good as new.
They aren't pretty, but they are sturdy, and by the time the room is full of the inevitable baby clutter, you won't notice that it's not a Mothercare showroom xx0 -

I really like both the cot and changer, they are simple, and from Ikea it will last. I have that changer secondhand from a friend whose LO is 4yo, and it has done DD and will do for babytickle so it is definitely durable! And bar from a few scratches when OH brought it in from the car its in very good nick tooDS1 arrived 22/02/11! 8lb3oz

Psst,
Hi girls, just wanted to mention that Lidl have their lovely body cushions back next week (monday). I loved that cushion, put your leg, bump and head on it and get a good night's sleep. And it kept pesky hubby away:wall:0
