Happy Due Date Tigerlee :j
It's my last day at work. It's odd cos there's only 4 of us in. It's not been too bad though. I've handed over my work to a colleague and cleared my computer up. Just 3 hours to go at the most.
Got a phone call from M&Ps to say our pushchair/carseat is ready for pick up :j Can't get it today as I don't have the paper workBut am in the area tomorrow anyway, so it'll have to wait till then.
Am 35 weeks today5 - 7 weeks to go
Am wondering what I'm going to do on mat leave before baby is born. I had all these plans but I fear I will waste my days in front of the TV. I wrote a list yesterday and will try and aim to do at least 1 thing per day.
I'm going against the flow and can honestly say I loved One Born at Christmas (although disappointed that yesterdays was just a repeat of Christmas days ). Yeah so the announcements and stuff were boring, but I don't think there were any less births than you get in the normal episodes. I'm sure there were only 2 per episode before. Maybe I've forgotten. I liked the catch ups too on babies from the last series.Baby Giz born 6/2/110 -
Hello ladies....well i've finally landed after the Christmas chaos. I've even come in work for a few hours today to escape the madness. Me and OH were starting to get on each others nerves so I'm in work then going cinema with the girls tonight.
Hope you all had a wonderful christmas. I made the most of our last one alone before baby arrives.
Collected our pram from M+P yesterday. My mum asked the SA what if come April we discover something is wrong with it and SA said the guarantee doesn't actually start until the day the baby is born which is good news.
Re: rib pain, I've had it in my right hand side for weeks now. Not there all the time but when it is there there's no getting away from it no matter how I lay. I figure that is the only PG synptom I have so far so I'm not complaining too much. I still feel very unpregnant. Still no symptoms at all other than bump and rib ache. I can see the next 3 moths going super fast though.
Sending labour vibes to those ladies that need them. Tigerlee, looks like things are moving in the right direction for you. My work colleague had a baby girl on monday, 5 days overdue. Will go and visit in the new year, and nick all her mat clothes that she has promised me.
Hope you all have a great new year. I prob won't get on to post again now til I'm back in work on tuesday.0 -

Do you think pushchairs and carseats are 'nursery' purchases?
TBH I thought it was too good to be true. I think we should be able to class prams as 'nursery' they can't expect people to rush out and buy everything when baby is here, they must know people will buy in advance.
I really cannot be bothered even opening the box til baby is here. I will have to take it back anyway to get them to show me again how it works0 -
Hi Ladies, Hope you all had a good Christmas.
I have eaten my own weight in chocolate.
Went for my 24 week check today. Heartbeat nice and strong and I'm measuring 23 cm (I'm actually 24 weeks tomorrow). I mentioned ro the mw about how I am not really feeling the baby move that much, just occasionally and she said to go back in 2 weeks to see her if I am not getting any more frequent movement.
On a positive, I bought my puchchair/travel system on Monday and my cot bed and baby bath yesterday.
Hope everyone is ok, Labour vibes to those in need. x xBaby Ice arrived 17th April 2011. Tired.com! :j0 -

Reading it I think it means anything except clothes really. So that would mean your warranty would start quite close to your due date - so not too bad. I will try and ask again tonight (hubby can't wait till tomorrow and wants to pick up pushchair tonight)
(Somebody hide my box of after eights from me.)
Well I'm home - no more work til January 2012! How crazy is that?Baby Giz born 6/2/110 -

I was wondering if you had started feeling bubs yet, what a naughty wee monkeyAt least there is a good strong heartbeat which must be reassuring for you hun.
Hope you had a good Christmas, sounds like you had a successful one!"That's no reason to cry. One cries because one is sad. For example, I cry because others are stupid, and that makes me sad."0
