Lilian - I knew someone who lost her plug at 32 weeks and then went 15 days overdue! I don't think you need to worry but would agree with calling your midwife. (I'm secretly jealous as I haven't had any sign of mine yet!)
Tickle - you look beautiful! Lovely Christmassy wedding photos.
I don't think I noticed any BHs until about 34 weeks and then it was just that I happened to put my hand on the bump and it was hard. Now I can't get away from them - wish they would either stop or turn into proper contractions.
Sammy - my OH hasn't bought me a Christmas present. He was going to buy something on Sunday but that was the day it snowed and I told him it wasn't safe to go out. He isn't really into presents but I am! Like you say, it is about the thought that goes into getting the right thing - I don't care what he spends.
Pelvic floor exercises done! Time to make dinner!
Hope it's a hot vindaloo, followed by a dozen fresh pineapples and rumpy pumpy!
C'mon we want our own MSE One Born Every Christmas!! (without the footage.....:o):A

Thanks to everyone for the mucus plug advice - I will keep an eye on it over the next few days. Peanut is being incredibly active today so wondering if it's just pushed something out!My debt free diary | Post Office loan: £2131 1429.38 | Barclaycard: £4429 1988.12 | Paypal Credit £322.71 574.91 | Monzo Flex £169.03 |

My plug just looked like endless strings of snot, greeny with the odd bit of blood.0

No one ever said pregnancy was glamorous! Now who else is unsticking their nipples from their bra's in the morning? lol0

:rotfl: Not got that far yet, but do remember it well from last time.
On the subject of dignity, I decided to try and glam up a bit and Immac my lady garden....OH walked in "eurgh, jesus...it's all swollen" walked out muttering "it's making my toes curl"Anyway it stang like hell (blooming sensitive, my *rse) so I shall go back to random hacking with the razor and hoping for the best!

Dont go at it with an epilator, i'd rather have labour over and over than torture my lady garden like that again.
My friend had her baby girl a few days ago and i just saw some pics, my heart actually melted.0 -
..do all the rotten aches and pains disappear pretty much after you've had the baby?
I'm feeling sorry for myself this evening
Aching back - check
Aching hips and buttocks, especially when in bed - check
Aching knee - not pregnancy related but am sure the extra bulk isn't helping - check
Aching arm from flu jab - check
SHooting bladder pains and almost constant need to pee - check
Also OH has been doing my perenium (sp) massage for me, and it's just making me feel quite unattractive..there's really no dignity is there?

Fed up.
Sorry but the perenium bit! :rotfl::(
Yes, strangely enough the most painful area of me after giving birth was my bum cheek, where I'd had the pethidine injection, obviously there's other gripes, maybe a sore tuppence and horrendously painful boobs, but other than that I felt much better. Mind saying that, I wasn't anyway near as big with DD, and must admit, this little blighter is putting me through the wringer.:(
It's all worth it though in the end.:heart2:Baby boy due 4th March 2011:heart2:0 -
I suppose the perenium bit is quite funny, it's just that, that's meant to be your saucy bits..IYKWIM, yet in this situation it's just a clinical operation, which I don't find physically very comfortable, and watching OH grimace as he tries to do it right, isn't great either!
I do wonder if he'll ever see me in the same light again!Metranil dreams of becoming a neon,You don't even take him seriously,How am I going to get to heaven?,When I'm just balanced so precariously..0
