I don't think I've laughed so much in ages! Been asking my OH to trim my lady garden for a couple of weeks but he keeps putting it off! I would hate to ask him about perennial massage, it might make him ill!
MV - there is no dignity once you become pregnant I'm afraid!

Lilian - I started losing my plug with DD at 33 weeks along with intermittent contractions and I spent a week in hospital because of it but it didn't mean full blown labour and in the end I was induced at 38 weeks.

Had my 34 week MW appointment today, BP good, urine clear but only measuring 31cms but MW didn't seem too concerned as I have a growth scan next week, however, I didn't have much faith in her measuring skills as I'm sure my uterus is a lot higher than she measured to and she was no way near my pubic bone either! He is head down now too and she could feel quite a lot of him and he had his bony bum sticking out (her words not mine!).
I recieved a letter about the flu vac this morning and I've got a priority slot for tomorrow morning. Thought it was better to be safe than sorry especially because it's taken me so long to get over this cold I've had, now over 3 weeks so goodness knows what I would be like with the flu! Still have a blocked ear and had another course of antibiotics which have made no difference. Not going to doctors again unless it gets painful and hoping it will just pop on its own.

Tickle - you looked lovely in your photos

    Teenie - hugs xxx

Hugs to all in need and welcome to the newbies x

  • Just barging in :)

SarahAngel - the last time I had a blocked ear from a cold I had to use Otex to clear it, it popped within 24 hours, after a week of full on deafness.

  • Bah..just can't sleep, got a million things whooshing around in my head, so have got up, made a camomile tea and am hoping that I come to my senses and feel tired at some point so I can get some zzzzzzz's!

3am in the morning is a peaceful time..although give it a few weeks from now and I won't be saying that!

Just realised that I haven't heard from my friend from work who was due on Dec 17th, so have dropped her an email, although hopefully she is far too busy having baby cuddles to reply to me! :D

And also just realise that I have no nursing tops to wear once bubs arrives and I am home..yikes..Mothercare online is calling! :rotfl:

So of for a quick search and then going to try sleep again..sigh.

    Merry Christmas Eve folks! :p

Morning! Also suffering from insomnia here! Spending the time doing my pelvic floor exercises, writing a to do list and ordering my tescos delivery on line!

Tomorrow all the family are going to phone up and see what's up, and if nothing is going on, will all descend on us for Christmas dinner! I've only got to do the potatoes so think I can cope with that. If we were in a soap opera, Christmas dinner would be a perfect time for my waters to break dramatically during a family argument! I can't think of anything worse than being in labour with my in laws fussing around.

Dusty - congrats on 26 weeks! Every week at that time means baby will be stronger and stronger.

Sharkeybabe - enjoy mat leave! Have you got lots of plans?

    Enjoy Christmas eve all!
  • Ejecoms - yes, going to stay at my dad and his GF's for a couple of days over Xmas so will get spoiled so really looking forward to that. After Xmas etc I am finally going to get my nursery painted and all furniture and pram ordered. Cant believe I only have about 7 weeks or so to go, getting very excited.
Hope everything goes well for you and that you are enjoying cuddles soon!!!

    Happy Christmas Eve!!!
