Be glad to shop at silly o'clock if someone could tell me these pains will be gone by then.

Ladies, don't feel afraid to take a written list of questions with you to your appointments and tick each one off - its much better than coming out thinking darn I forgot to ask that.
That's what I do - take a list of questions. I would forget otherwise.

Ooh I signed up to avent. I have one bottle that came with my tommee tippee pump, but another wouldn't hurt. I don't plan on expressing much but have a couple of concerts I'd like to go to :o

Had my flu jab...I am such a wimp but I can honestly say it didn't hurt anywhere near like I thought it would. I'm quite pleased with myself. Think I'm overcoming the fear of needles now - but I didn't look at it.

She did scare me though as she said that a small minority get flu like symptoms from it...she said if I did it'd be very mild, but I could take paracetomol and drink lots and rest lots. I was under the impression that it had no side effects other than a sore arm. I hope I'm not the minority with Christmas so close.

Looking forward to One Born at Christmas :) Going to have to record all the Xmas day episodes to watch on boxing day :)

Love the piccies Tickle as you already know hehe am so glad you had a wonderful day, you look fabulous and can be very proud of yourself hehe (send some of the cake this way I'll help you eat it hehe)

On the work front, myself and the other girls in the office took a vote and decided we are walking at 1.30 pm as there is no point us being there when there are actually no patients booked in and the physiotherapists won't be about either lol it was a manky and stressful afternoon though so while hubby is out getting drunk tonight I am going to have me a bath and pamper myself :)

Are things better with your OH today Sammy?

Getting better. I can't be bothered to carry on with my huff anymore. But we are making progress. I asked DH to put the bins out yesterday, but when I got in from work he had already left and hadn't done the bins. He said he would do them when he got home. I woke up at 6am and asked him if he had put the bins out (they come early on Thrsdays) and he'd forgotten again! Last week's DH would have turned over and let me put the bins out but this week's DH actually got out of bed, put his coat on and put the bins out :T He hasn't brought them back in yet though, so still in progress :)
Got my free gift today for joining avent baby club

Ahhhhh, lovely pics. I love your dress - very festive. Pleased you had a good day.

On the subject of wedding photos, my wedding photographer randomly called DH today to say we will get our album in January - the wedding was in August 2009

Got all my Xmas food stuffs in, got my flu jab and sorted out DH's tax return - so loads accomplished today. Think I deserve a nice bath tonight :)

Has anyone else got a DH who hasn't actually got them an Xmas present? DH is going to do his usual last minute dash on Xmas Eve - and then it will have to be wrapped in parcel paper as we have no Xmas paper left. How nice it would be to have a hubby who put some love and thought into his gift :(

Ejecoms - Sending loads of labour vibes your way. We haven't had any babies in a while :)

Well done those who have managed to get flu jabs... My Drs is so crap that they have run out of jabs (Hubby had the last one!) He even tried to book me in at the same time as him but they wouldn't let him and said the MW would do it... She's so crap she hasn't even mentioned it... I can apparently ring round pharmacies and find one that will dispence a jab, get a script from the Dr, fetch the jab, book in with the Dr and take it and he will do it... Whilst suffering terrible SPD, 2 days before christmas and with 2 children in tow!

I might just ring the drop in and see if they'll do it...

Saw the physio today, she offered me crutches, but I couldn't see any way I could get around on crutches whilst pushing DD2 in the pushchair and seeing as I never go anywhere without her... Seemed a bit pointless... I'm basically sofa bound for the next 9 weeks...

    Tickle, love the photos :)

  • Hello everyone, hope you're all well and keeping warm :D

I'm feeling pap at the moment. Shoulder is absolutely killing from work, and I had a sausage casserole from the canteen which didn't agree with me so been sick as well :( Think I may have a soak in the bath in a bit to try and soothe my shoulder.

Got my free Avent bottle today as well :T Very pleased with it. Am planning to BF, but would like to express as well so OH can also feed.

Going to order our pram/buggy tomorrow :D We are getting the M&P Zoom. Tried others, including the expensive ones, but saw no difference, and very happy with this one. Scary as it's the first big purchase.

Didn't see anything I wanted in the Next sale, thankfully!

Well done to all those getting the 'flu jab. It's good peace of mind, especially as I keep reading about further cases of 'flu happening.

Oh I know what I was going to ask. When do you start getting braxton hicks? As in my 21 week email from Bounty (I think) it mentioned I may start getting mild contractions now? Seems too early. I haven't yet anyway.

I started really feeling them last night and I am 22 + 5.

Hope a bath makes you feel better digital!!

With DD1, I didn't really feel BHs until about 38weeks and they were really mild tightenings... With DD2 I got them really early on and they were much more intense... So much so I thought I wouldn't know when I went into labour... But the old cliche is right... You Know when it's labour lol... Been getting BHs with this one for weeks now, when we went to War Of The Worlds they were coming every 5mins or so... Don't think the baby appreciated the noise lol...
