Morning ladies.
I keeping a numb right hand and ring finger. I get terrible pins and needles. I had carpal tunnel with DD I'm worried it's back. I'm struggling to type this.
Lauren hopefully it's just BH, how many weeks are you?
It's so much quieter without ladylegs, fuzz and emsy:( We all have to talk more.:santa2::xmastree::santa2:0 -
Sproglet woke me up at 3am again. Playing xylophone on my ribs. Although all the books I have say that my uterus should only be an inch or two above my navel, so how on earth is it reaching them?
Neeeeed sleeeeeeeep.
Having a few scary moments about things - how on earth am I going to get this thing out of me; how am I going to get all the work done that I need to before I go on leave, how am I going to get all my holidays taken before I go on leave, especially with all the work I have to do.:eek:
hope averything's ok laurenIf having different experiences, thoughts and ideas to you, or having an opinion that you don't understand, makes me a troll, then I am proud to be a 100% crying, talking, sleeping, walking, living Troll. :hello:0 -
chucking in my two pennorth on prams, I have quinny buzz in bright pink and orange (will be a boy, LOL) and it is excellent, facing mummy and height of handle adjustable so no backache.
Eating bizarre sandwich of sandwich spread, cheese and tomato, and aching all over!
sammy had something to ask you, what was it????Please do not confuse me with other gratefulsforhelp. x0 -
Hi all. I thought something might have been starting yesterday evening, but as I hadn't really slept in 2 nights I wasn't too keen on the idea. So had a long bath and managed to get an OK sleep (2hrs, loo, then 4 hrs uninterupted which good at the minute). A little nervous about the labour, so am not bothered about being overdue.0

Sorry don't know for sure, but on baby and bump forum there was someone with a similar issue. She said they were sending the form back to her or something but never followed up to see if it got resolved. Did they say they would send the form back?
They took the address of the health centre MW is based at, so I'm assuming they're sending it there (I know, I know, assumption is the mother of all **** ups), but MW isn't answering the phone/replying to messages and I'm not sure what else to do. I'm due to see MW next Tuesday, so if she hasn't had it back by then I'll chase HMRC again- they seemed more bothered by the fact that I'd phoned the saynoto0870 geographical number than anything else to be honest. :wall::doh: (I need an eyeroll smilie!)
Re: Sola/Urbo/Zoom. Even after seeing the Zoom I wasn't convinced by three wheelers- as my mother keeps saying "you wouldn't buy a 3-wheeled car, so why would you put your baby in one". The Urbo really wasn't any good for the potential terrain I'll be on, so the Sola was the compromise. OH and I didn't like the colours (well, I liked the orchid, but apparently it's too girly), so we went for all black and I've made the footmuff myself. We really wanted the carrycot also, despite loads of people (including the SA in M&Ps) telling us it wasn't necessary and I'm sure I will use it.
Hugs Lauren, I got my first BHs in the middle of my grandfather's funeral last week- everyone's stood up to sing a hym and I'm holding on to the seat in front of me trying not to faint and become the much satired hysterical pregnant woman at the funeral... :rotfl:0 -
Happy Monday everyone. booooo!
I'm 32 weeks today and only 4 more weeks of work left :j.
I woke up in the middle of the night too and wasn't able to get comfortable and back to sleep for hours too.

I don't think I've had any Braxton Hicks, can someone tell me what they feel like? I was getting pains last night like someone was sticking a knitting needle up baby's escape route into me, but no tightening of the tummy and no regular pattern. Anyone experienced this? Baby is constantly moving throughout this.0

Good Morning Ladies
Thanks for the thoughts on sore nips - still sore today and didn't get a good nights sleep last night as kept rolling onto my right side.
I'm loving the talk about prams - its getting me excited! Still no idea what to get - but due to my doggie I really should stick with a decent 3 wheeled all terrain.
Actually on the subject of prams. Are these subject to VAT as I know kiddie's clothes aren't - but what about the prams? If they are, best get in there before 1st Jan before they all go up by 5%!
GFH sorry love - psychic is not one of my pg symptoms. I have no idea what you wanted to ask!!
MV - you lucky bint with 4 weeks left. I have just over 2 months left - boo.
CL - good luck - sounds like things are moving :j:j:j0 -
Anyone else get hiccups all the time? It's not constant. I do about 3 or 4 hics at a time, but get this very regularly and have done for the past 3 months. I've just about stopped noticing that I'm doing it, except when we're out somewhere or have friends over. Then I feel a bit embarrassedIf having different experiences, thoughts and ideas to you, or having an opinion that you don't understand, makes me a troll, then I am proud to be a 100% crying, talking, sleeping, walking, living Troll. :hello:0

lauren, have you tried a couple of paracetamol and a nice hot bath, see if that helps any?
Tickle, I just read the book... It had me sobbing into my pillow so I didn't disturb hubby lol... We went to see unstoppable yesterday, he was quite amused by the lone tear that he saw... I managed to hide the rest lol...
My lower back is really bad today too... Would be a day when I have a lot of walking to do! I keep going and pressing my back up the hall radiator, seems to relieve it a little... I might take some paracetamol before I walk the baby round to my friends...
Edit: Hngry, I tend to burp a lot more... Not too bad when I'm on my own, but not great when I forget where I am!
CL, sounds like your cervix is getting ready, it's uncomfortable but doesn't last for longA very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...My Fathers Daughter wrote: »Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.
