CatwOman, how far are you from the hospital? Will the snow/ice be a problem?

I finally have a date for my 20 week scan, it's the 21st if Dec so I'll be 22 weeks. We've decided to stay team yellow. We don't get told the sex here anyway and were thinking of having a sexing scan privately, but have decided we are happy to wait.

    PPI Party Pooper
Sorry just a quickie for those with children, big or small this is fab http://magicsanta.ca/ or there is PNP which is also great but didn't work for us this year (could have been something to do with pop ups, might try again).

Nic that's good about the scan, you are only a week after me, was worried you would have to wait longer. :)

Evening all, thank you for all the welcomes:)

13 weeks today and my nausea is back big time! OH can't understand why didn't stop at 12 weeks....you'll find I'll moan about him every now and then!:D

CatwOman, have you rung British Gas for a quote on a one off repair? Don't tell them you know what is wrong though. I called a guy out who temp fixed the fan on my boiler, he was honest enough to say he couldn't fix for the fixed price British Gas could offer. Maybe worth a shot?

Apparently its just started snowing again, despite nothing on forecast for the South East!
:heart2:Baby boy madbird arrived 15/06/11 by emergency csection weighing 9lb 13oz:eek: love him so much xx:heart2:
  • Madbird, I thought my nausea had gone, until yesterday when I was actually sick, but seems to be calming down again. Lol at your OH, if only it were that simple.

Catw0man - Good luck and labour vibes!

I didn't make it to the consultant today. We would have made it, but hospital phoned an hour before (and just caught us) to say they didn't know if they would have any doctors! She asked why I was seeing the consultant, so I explained that the last midwife wanted my meds reviewed, in case they want to change my omeprazole to ranitidine and to think about extra growth scans later on, so she gave me an appointment for next Monday.

I now have Christmas songs playing loudly and I'm singing along, even if DH is laughing at me. :rotfl:
 Mummy to an amazing little girl
  • Did anyone else frantically search for things that could go wrong at the anomaly scan?

I'm finding the closer I get to the date the worse i'm feeling about it. I'm barely sleeping now through the worry!

Somebody please tell me this is normal! :(

Fingers crossed things get moving for you Cat........being lazy with names lol.

Hugs to all that need them! I have been lurking but cant actually remember anything anyone has said, apart from a broken boiler and something about Oxford. God Im carp, sorry!!

Ive done myself an injury today, in so much pain its unreal.

Went into town to attempt to finish the Xmas shopping, I just CBA with it now tbh. ANyhoo, DD and I stopped for a drink and bite to eat, she was behaving beautifully until some old dear said hello to her. Apparently this was her cue to start showing off and then she ran away.....she ran out of the coffee shop, down the road and into another shop, Im running after her (well, waddling) and some d!ckhead doughnut of a couple stood in my way going 'oh look that little girl is running away from her mum' then they didnt move!! So I pretty much rugby tackled them out the way, managed to catch up with DD, pretty much yanked her arm out its socket and dragged her back to the coffee shop where I had left my bags, handbag, buggy, everything. The little !!!!!!, I could have pulled her pants down and tanned her !!! right there and then, I am not normally a smacker but I really could have, first time mums...............dont say I didnt warn you that sometimes your child will do something that makes you turn into god knows what!!!

Anyhoo, my foof is now killing me, along with my pelvis and back, I cant have done that much damage just from a bit of running surely?!

Oh and looks like my driving test on thurs is going to be cancelled cos of the stupid weather. Pfff, next available date is mid Jan when I'll be 32/33 weeks...........great!!

Im going to sign off now before I moan too much lol!

Hi, we did try that but unfortunately due to the amount of calls they are only seeing Homecare customers just now :( We think we might have a solution, get the part and hubby and brother in law will fit it - brother in law has done this before, and has a good knowledge of boilers. Apparently because it's a circuit board it's just a case of old one out new one in! I can't believe the labour charge for that!

Thanks for the labour vibes, hubby has another day's work tomorrow, so kinda hoping bubs will hold off a little - the money will be useful!

Yes it's normal to worry. I was so nervous at mine. Try to remain positive though :) ((hugs))

Thankfully not too far to the hospital about 15 minutes on the ring road and the roads are much better here now, hubby has big 4x4 so we should be ok.
