  • I was saying to the hubby that I wasn't getting rude dreams the other day and I feel all left out :(

Mine aren't great when I do remember them so I think i'd rather not dream at all than get the sort i've been getting! :(

    Hi All

Anyone use a buggy board? Whats the best buggy/buggyboard combo to get??

I like 3 wheeler prams which according to friends arent very compatible with buggy boards and tend to tip over. So if you are going for a buggy board try it out in a shop including sharp turns and going up an down a kerb style moevements (usually they have a raised display for the prams).

Due to the fact we love 3 wheelers.... we have decided to go with the Phil and Ted with doubles kit. We have just got ours 2nd hand off ebay for £107 which just needs a clean.

How do you go about booking the classes? Is it generally done through the midwife??? I have my 24 week appointment in the morning and wasn't sure if I need to ask??

congrats to Starjumper and to little Benjamin.

Hi all. Still here after 2 pessaries and if anything I'm going backwards. Gone from 1cm yesterday to "closed to 1 cm" an hour ago. I've to get another pessary tonight and if still nothing then maybe a section. Not even a twinge. Haven't cried again yet which is a result.

Are they not going to give you the drip before a c-sec?

Thanks for that - I think I will go, it's just so late and I'm so tired and sore with SPD :(

You poor thing. I am sore today from indulging Oli by staying in the toddler swimming pool for 2 hours instead of making him get out. Just sitting on the hard tiles on the floor for that long has made me really achy today. I have a bit of soreness in my SI joints, but not proper full blown SPD - plenty to give me sympathy for those of you that have it properly though!

I am so glad I'm not working this time round - I don't seem to be able to keep my eyes open at about 3pm, and have to snooze for 15 minutes. I suppose keeping up with a full-of-beans toddler is a bit like work, but he can't sack me if I bore him :rotfl:

I asked and was told to just ring the hospital - you should have a phone number on your green notes for parent education but if not just google parent education and your hospital. I'd do it fairly soon though because they get booked up quickly.

I can't wait to finish! So tired all the time.

I don't know whether I do have full blown SPD - it's just in one hip so could just be a trapped nerve, I had it about 10 weeks ago but it went away so I'm hoping that'll happen again - I have a referral for the physio that I'm going to send off anyway just in case.

Anyone else got their free Vertbaudet bodysuit today? Got mine. It's very nice, shame it's for 6mths old though - it's huge! For some reason I thought it was a newborn bodysuit, silly me :o

Yes, the one I ordered for my daughter's baby has arrived today and that's 6mths....delivery man was curious as he said he has delivered loads today.....so put him out of his misery :)

My daughter has just got the Mutsy Urban Rider and we managed to get a brand new mutsy buggy board brand new in the box off Ebay for her 3 yr old. Only attached it once or twice in the house to try it and already it is removing the black finish on the pushchair frame.

I was going to get a Litaf but I'm not sure, my DD will be a month off 3 when the baby arrives but she has tiny legs and hates to walk she also hates her pram, buggy, and a supermarket trolley seat she likes to be carried  and if you don't she goes at snails pace or sits down on the ground. I'm not sure what to do for the best I don't want to buy something she won't use.
