DD2 will be 22months when this baby comes along, we're thinking of getting the babyjogger city select. It's a single pushchair that converts to a double but I prefer it to the Phil and Teds because you can have the children rear facing...A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...My Fathers Daughter wrote: »Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

That is so cool. Is that from your work?
The knickers might just be the disposable knickers? Could be useful. The mattress protectors will be useful for if you're waters break while in bed...although some people don't like using them because of the crinkly noises.
Dutch non-NHS system, so it's the health insurance that sent it. Just had such a laugh with OH over it (welcome to Holland he said!) - surprised they didn't include some surgical instruments and something for some DIY stitches.
That's a good idea about the mattress covers - I will check them for crinkliness...
The knickers are great - sort of the knicker equivalent of a string vest..... but possibly also quite useful!!0 -
evening lady bumps......hope we are all well and my labour vibes from earlier are working (double sends to CL)
Have spent most of the day asleep and am sitting here messing on FB trying hard to keep my eyes open but I know I can't go back to bed yet or I will be up half the night and I have work in the morning (although speaking with the Sister at the hospital this afternoon her first question was had my Dr signed me off work :S)
Headache has settle a bit but my hands have swelled again so looks like my rings are stuck on my finger for a while, might try and shower and see if that helps......

Thanks SA,
I'm so releived to say that all reading were better this time. Doppler was the main one that they were looking at after a dodgy reading last time, but all is ok and another check in 1 week. I've been prescribed baby aspirin too- were you prescribed this? Its a bit contreversial as its not without its risks (haemorrhage for me or baby) They're just going to try it for a week and see if readings improve further.

I thought they would. I asked this and the doctor said they won't give the drip unless your waters are broken, so they need you to be at least 3-4cm to get in and break them. She said if I don't start to dilate after the next pessary at 10pm tonight then they will do a section tomorrow.

quick question to those in the know... I had a positioning scan today (private) at 39w and 3 days. Baby is measuring 6lb and I'm due on Monday. Obviously I may go over but at this weight am I looking at premie, newborn or 0-3 size clothes? I haven't got a clue!!
Scan was 4d and told us head is engaged (and not a particularly big head like my NHS MW said last time LOL), enough fluid around her and head measurements etc. we didn't get photos though as it was too late and she didn't have enough fluid around her face to get a clear pic. She has put weight on (chubby cheeks) since we saw her at the 25wk scan though!
thanks in advance for any help:T.

I'm insured with CZ, but there are quite a few companies to choose from. Maybe they want to keep your custom as there will soon be an extra person to insure, so maybe it's common practice to try and butter you up with a box of goodies!0 -
I have a Facebook request from sc. Fairyshazza - is that you??:jMini Coops arrived 2011:j0
