I had about 3 or 4 charges, so i wouldn't say i managed my accounts that badly! I remember at the interview i was worried what they might think but it obviously wasn't a problem.

I remember a couple of years back having an application form for Halifax , call centre and the amount of personal questions was unbelieble. i.e. bankruptcy, whether you owned your own property and who do you bank with...

can you someone please please pelase help me

i am not putting in a DPA request as i have all but one statement from my bank account and i doubt that i had any charges on that missing month.

so i am sending a request for all my money (plus interest) first off to halifax. what address do i use? headoffice? DPA office? local branch?

also i am requesting a DPA for my halifax credit card. i am guessing as these are two seperate accounts that i can follow differing time scales - any recommendations? i no longer have a halifax current account but the credit card is still there.

hi there. try these 2 MSE links. martins guide is essential reading and so is this one as well. Have a look at the Moneyclaim online / Court Service websites as well.

If you follow these guides and keep in touch with this board, you will be fine mate.

this is the thread with addresses you need. It's a very good step by step guide. Send everything by recorded delivery. Some people including myself have handed letters into local branch. Whatever u do. Make sure u have proof and copies as back up.
