    Hi

I am getting ready to send my 2nd letter to the halifax on monday. I have noticed form the template that you have to send all the statements again with this letter . Is this correct ???

I have got a reference number from their letter to say they have received the 1st letter and will be in touch in due course. So I would have thought they had all the information.

If anyone can answer I would much appreciate this.

    Thanks

    Morning to you all

Can anybody answer my mail that I sent yesterday......

    Thanks for reading

  • Hi Raq, I didnt send my statements with any of my letters, just a list of the charges, the dates and the amounts, and obviously kept a copy of this for myself.

    Oh thanks for replying.

Think I'll do this rather than photocopying all the statements again.

How did you get on anyway....???

HERE is an example of how I list the charges out when writing to the bank (using Word). At the end, just total up the years.

Still waiting for my money to be paid into my bank but have now received a letter from Halifax saying that my loan I have with them, they want paid back in full or they will pass to a debt collection agency!

I telephone and asked why all of a sudden were they doing this and they said I missed a payment in November 2006!

I've told them I am in no position to pay the full amount back and if I was I wouldn't have a loan in the first place so they have said they are passing it to a DCA!

I was in tears all last night after this. Does anyone think it is because of reclaiming the charges or has this happened to anyone else?
  • Got mine back yesteday. £366.31, which was the amount I filed in court for. However, since then there was interest of £1.66, so I did indeed call legal services to advise them of this small oversight, and into my accoun it went.:D

  • I have been browsing this site for a while & have now took "the leap" to reclaim charges from the Halifax. I posted the 1st template letter recorded delivery on 12th Dec & received statements back yesterday. However, they are only 2004-2006. Is this normal or will I receive the others separately?
    Many thanks!
  • Its quite normal for the information to be sent in several different packages so don't worry about it just yet.
