Just started to fill out my money claim on line. I'm claiming £857 plus interest. However this is against my Halifax credit card - not a bank account. The address for Halifax Card Services is in Scotland so I cannot use this in the on line claim form. Question is can i use the Halifax head office address in Halifax ? Does this one work for both bank accounts and credit cards ?

If anyone can provide a quick reply I would be eternally grateful as I want to file the claim tonight....:-)

I'd send them the second letter template from here - detailing charges plus interest and giving them 10 days before you start court action. Stick to the tried and tested plan..

    hi,
I just received my 6 years of statements from Halifax and am not sure if I can claim 'interest debited'? I couldn't find it mentioned in the Resource bar.

I always got mad when I read that because it ususally reads 'Interested Debited - notified last month' - I was never blimmoin notified about this once!!!

    Thanks!!

Interest for going overdrawn can't be claimed, please see post 4 in the Reclaim Help Thread linked to in my signature.

The Scotland address is Halifax CC Call Centre, use the Halifax registered address in the second post in the Reclaim Help Thread.
