Hi All,
I have just started out claiming my charges, i have sent 3 letters away 2 to Bank Of Scotland and 1 to The Royal Bank.
Anyway the royal have been back in touch and i have sent my 1st letter to them, Fingers Crossed...
Bank Of Scotland have told me they do not have my letters even though i can proved they have been recieved by checking the Track & Trace via Royal Mail.
One of my bank Accounts with HBOS has been closed 13 days earlier than whatthey have stated via a letter sent by them for ( WAIT FOR IT) a debit of £278 which is made up of Bank Charges only. I have now raised a complaint with Bank Of Scotland who have wrote to me and advised me they have 8 weeks to try and resolve my complaint in the meantime i have applied for statements on the remaining HBOS account that is open and paid £5 but as the second account is now closed they cant release my bank statements unless i send another request with another £10. I need help any suggestions anyone.

hi,
I just received my 6 years of statements from Halifax and am not sure if I can claim 'interest debited'? I couldn't find it mentioned in the Resource bar.
I always got mad when I read that because it ususally reads 'Interested Debited - notified last month' - I was never blimmoin notified about this once!!!
Thanks!!:heart2: Cookiepops :heart2:0 -
Hi folks, first time poster and hello to everyone.
I have sent of the initial letters on behalf of my partner and I, requesting details of all charges or statements.... 2 to HBOS, and 1 to LloydsTSB.
The letters were sent on the 1st Feb, 2 cheques for £10 were cashed on 12th Feb, these were for the HBOS fee's. When should I reasonably expect to receive the info from them?, seeing as I have now paid for the privilege.
Thanks

Hi i was swanting some advice, i sent a letter off to the Halifax on 18th January asking for a detailed list of charges, which i received a week or so later. From that i sent another letter off asking for my charges to be refunded. I got a letter from them on 26th January stating that they are looking into the complaint and would get back to me.
Well they have done this today stating that they are still looking into it and will have a response as soon as possible but certainly no later than 26th March
Should i wait till the 26th March in the hope i receive something before (and not another letter saying that they are looking into it)
Or should i send another letter to them asking for my charges again and giving them a certain amount of time
I dont want to leave it until 26th March to get yet another letter
Any advice0
