I will ask to sample a little extra.....just for you, beanie :D

There is a chateau nearby as well, so I think we will do the tourist bit tomorrow, then I can come back, pack, remake the beds etc ready for the owners to come home to, and possibly even grab a couple of hours sleep before the overnight drive back.

I have loved my week, as have the kids as you will see if you have seen the pics on FB, but am looking forward to getting back to my new home and really settling in.

Sounds a bit scary. Chocolate factory would count as medicinal, for nerve calming.

If we were staying in a resort, I would head out on the slopes whatever the weather.....even if was only for a couple of hours or so.

But the house we are staying in is just under an hour's drive away - that makes it a long way to go just to find out that the conditions are yukky....

So, we will write off skiing tomorrow, and will do the other stuff instead, which we will still enjoy. It certainly won't do us any harm!

Yikes to not being able to see the edge of the mountain :o But good to hear you sounding so relaxed. Usually there is that awful "end of holiday" feeling isn't there, but I bet the thoughts of having a new house waiting is making you excited this time. How lovely :)

Yes, it has been a very relaxing week - just what we all needed I reckon!

I have just had a text to say that my broadband will be ready to set up when we get home.....that will keep the children happy!!
