I am sure there are people who have complaints against them, of course they are not perfect, but compared with other institutions I have done battle with over the years, these are fab guys!!

But not as good as Egg, surely :rotfl:.

    Glad you're having a great time :)

well fielded Hypno, and hurrah for FD. My parents have been with them pretty much since they first started, and always say they wouldn't go anywhere else now.

Wow, a glowing report for a bank?! I'm defo going to sign up!

I'm with the Black Horse after years with NatW (I switched for the 0% OD) and they've been ok really, it's just the robotic call centre in India that drives me mad, they won't vere from the script!

Glad you're having such a good break Hypno. We had snow here today, though not the nice skiiing kind

Another vote for FD here. real people answer every time, conversations are recorded so agreements can be checked, and they do what they promise and if there's a human failure they put it right and apologize! Been with them for about 20 years and wouldn't change.
Only beef is I should have got £10 for joining but forgot to claim it and by the time I remembered it was rather too late!

A quick vote for Smile here - I find them really friendly whenever I phone and, when I forgot to transfer money over to pay the mortgages, my OD was extended in minutes :j.

Then again, I like Egg too :o. Actually, it's the functionality of Egg Money & Mortgages I like, they do make a fair few booboos. Although as one of them was linking our offset to both mortgage accounts for over a year, when rates were quite high, I managed to forgive them :j.
