Sun? What is this mythical thing of which you speak :(.

    Glad you've had a great day :)

Photos on fb look amazing - now that is where snow SHOULD be - on the top of a mountain where people with skis can go and do their thing - thus leaving pavements and roads around my little world free from the white stuff and slippiness LOL. If I'd have been designed to travel on such surfaces I'd have been born a penguin or whith skis attached. Glad you are all enjoying the break.

Can't believe those banks taking cash out like that - HOW DARE THEY - don't they know you have just got yourself sorted and are now due a stressfree life. Well done to the current bank though for sorting it so quickly.

Hey there Mudders, you lovely lovely lady!! How the devil are you and yours.....wishing you all a very happy and healthy 2011 xx

The problem with ski hols is that there is no chance of a lay in.....so the alarm is still set and I could quite do with it not being! It is worth it to get out on the slopes, but boy am I tired this morning!!

Much coffee will be consumed today as we are planning a long day on the mountain.....I hope you all have a good one, whatever you are doing!

no, its not really sunk in yet.....I think it will when I get back home and my next pay goes into the bank in a couple of weeks, when I can then do my new budget properly.

Today's skiing was a white out - pics are on FB for those that want.....we did a couple of tough hours, then called it a day.....even those of us mad enough to ski in most conditions found it hard going. shame, because the powder was lovely - just couldn't see where the edge of the mountain was :rotfl:

Hope the weather's better for skiing tomorrow. If it's not have you got alternative plans?

Read an article this morning saying Switzerland's not getting it's normal skiing tourists, because the Swiss Franc exchange rate is so bad that everything is too expensive. Maybe that's another reason why the slopes were so quiet earlier in the week.

January is generally quiet anyway - the conditions are often "iffy" and when my kids have been racing/training in Switzerland it is often poor at the start of the season.

As I am driving back overnight tomorrow/Saturday, it won't be the end of the world if we only ski for a couple of hours, or even not at all.....I can find something else to do. Like sleep :D
