I have been telling the kids about santas elves for the past few days and this afternoon we watched arthur christmas.
I think they will love having him come to stay for the month! We are sending a card from one of those card personalising websites from Elfis to the boys letting them know he is coming for the first time soon and to watch out for him, build up the excitement and get things ready for him.

have created a facebook page and added as many elves as possible!0 -
Thought I'd ask you crafty people (will also post on the christmas thread).
After your elves have been up to mischief with the toilet roll do you make a craft out of the paper or bin it? I'd love to utalise it but can't think of anything exciting. can I use it like paper mache to cover a balloon??loves how my "I've been censored" signature has been censored. LOL. Happy Christmas. :xmastree:0 -

Hi All
Rudi our Elf has 7 likes, she'd love some more so feel free to pop over and like her page!!

She has lots of activities, books, dvd's and a reindeer adoption for my littlies, she's also arranged a Polar Express night with Elf hot choc mugs etc.
The best present is for the family which is the weekend before christmas she has booked a night in a hotel followed by a day with Santa and his elves at the National Space Centre, i am so excited - we wouldnt normally do something so big before christmas but daddy is working 12hrs shifts from christmas eve through to 27th so wont see our littlies at all (and i am working christmas night shift) so it was something a little bit special to make up for it!
Now to plan the madness!!!0 -

Yesterday my son was using my iphone to look at F1 stuff via the internet and he said I had too many pages up and could he shut them down. Without thinking I said yes - but one of them was this page!! Whilst I appreciate that my son (aged nearly 12) must know it is me who does the elf stuff I didn't really wanting him knowing more
The only good thing is that since yesterday he hasn't stopped asking about our elf and checking that he will still be coming this year. So I guess that must be his way of saying it is all ok0 -

That's really sad :-(
What does it matter to facebook if people make these in the spirit of Christmas? They aren't doing any harm.0 -

YES!! We did paper mache snowmen with ours last year, just twist the balloon to form a head & body before covering. Turned out lovely, although we still gave ours a coat of white paint as the loo roll went a kind of off-gray colour! It's not about getting what you want, It's about wanting what you get.0 -

My Elf is ready with the little stocking to bring on Dec the 1st, and i cannot wait, we have a peppermint elf this year and i'm just hoping my little girls do not argue like they did last year over him. I'm wondering if its best to maybe get another to save any arguments lol.
I have lots planned for this year and have been really organised.
cannot wait hoping to have lots of fun, it really does make the run up to christmas so magical:)0
