This is the 1st year I have done this & have the parcel ready to go except Mr or Mrs Elf!
Love the stocking idea as a sleeping bag!
Sorry just flying through but I got mine many moons ago on ebay (only time I used it). Last year I managed to find another one the same on ebay for my 3 year old niece. ... There were some lovely Norwegian ones too.
I think I found them because I looked for gnomes rather than elves ..............? Worth a try - we have beer belly gnomes, with hairy legs and fat bellies that stick out from their top - we love them. Sorry dashing out for kids or I'd look for you ..... HTH0 -

This is our first year of having an elf stay with us. Soo excited. Last night he didnt do anything as he was just getting used to his surroundings. (and im rearranging the living room/clearing out, so wouldnt have noticed any mess he made haha)Living Simply, not simply living.Weight Loss - 5b/55lb

Hi, first year 'elfing' for me, was hoping to set up a Facebook page for our elf so my little folk can catch him surfing the net one morning. Are there any other elves out there that I can friend request?
Thanks guys
Merry Christmas x0 -
Hi cousinjack, my elf is buddy snowbottom - he has his own page on facebook. Because I've done him as fictional rather than real you can just like his page. Let me know what your elf is called so Buddy can talk to him :-):hello:0

Hello all newbies and oldies😂:rotfl:
Well this is my 6th year of elfing and I am slowing my elves up a little this year. My kids are now 11 and 8 which are obviously tricky ages for keeping this rolling! I struggle now with keeping it fresh as have done most things the elves are capable of undertaking. The elves left a note and advent calendars on the doorstep last Saturday stating they would be back!
They will probably turn up next week! Good luck and have fun.....x0 -
Its my 6th year also and my kids are 8 and 10 we must be two of the originals... I'm thinking this could be our last 'secret' year, and I'm a little sad - struggling for new ideas and just got a little rescue puppy that eats and kills anything on the floor - wanted to go out with a bang but we've already had a puppy vs elf tradgedy that ended in peppermint in a sling......:beer:0

hi, not really posted on here in ages, this is my 6th yr also. my boys are 11, 8 and 4, not 100% sure that the older still believe but at the moment they are "playing along" as they know they get treats etc if they believe. i just hope when they decide they dont that they will keep quiet for the sake of lil man, he is absolutely loving it this year.
a few of the things i had planned havent happened for various reasons - lost items that i bought, ebay sellers cancelling bids, items getting lost in post etc.
i sat for hours during the year going through web pages and blogs noting down ideas and things that they could do - i have pages upon pages. its just a case of trying to find things that fit round us/our house etc.
hope everyone is enjoying it and has a good christmas.due to spilling coffee :coffee: on my keyboard it works when it wants to :rotfl:
