This will be our second year doing the magic elves. My daughters (7&10) LOVED it last year. We have two elves, one girl and one boy. I have a list of things that the elves are going to get up to, I've tried to do different things from last year. Mine do something every night from the 1st of dec, so I plan early so I know exactly what I'm going to be doing. On Christmas Eve, I did a treasure hunt round the house (which was set by the elves of course) and at the end they got a certificate saying that they had made Santas "nice list", later that night they sat the elves by the fire, ready to be collected by Santa and that was that.

Hi there, doing Xmas elf remotely for my granddaughter who lives abroad. I have sent her an email from him to say he is currently in the North Pole, but could do with some tips about how to introduce him before I getting him to do the naughty bits!

Wanted to do something rather than just a photo, any ideas you creative bunch of elf enablers??

  • Yeah I've had my eye on him also. You can get a girl version also, but she's not as cute IMO.

Here's our elf stuffed and stitched. Cost me £2 :)

Hi folks been a manic year - good to see some familiar names on here. :j

Well I survived the chemo and radio but still get tired (but may be the tamoxifen). Yes I have hair this year but its gone curly crazy on me (used to have a sleek bob) and 2 extra stone from the steroids - never put on weight before .... Hey ho - but I'm here :):D

Mum and Dad been ill so been dashing everywhere - I am not prepared this year and yes after 6 or is it 7 years struggling for fresh ideas. This is first time I've had chance to check thread since the summer (but I have visited the Xmas thread).

Elves arrived last night with lego advent calendars - but still need to decide what to do each night. But I do have a huge list from here to chose from .............. No tree until next weekend - so maybe food colour in the milk tonight. Must go and refresh their fb page...........Galdor and Blinky go large ..............:rotfl:Happy planning and surprising peeps ....

Sorry just flying through but I got mine many moons ago on ebay (only time I used it). Last year I managed to find another one the same on ebay for my 3 year old niece. ... There were some lovely Norwegian ones too.

I think I found them because I looked for gnomes rather than elves ..............? Worth a try - we have beer belly gnomes, with hairy legs and fat bellies that stick out from their top - we love them. Sorry dashing out for kids or I'd look for you ..... HTH

This is our first year of having an elf stay with us. Soo excited. Last night he didnt do anything as he was just getting used to his surroundings. (and im rearranging the living room/clearing out, so wouldnt have noticed any mess he made haha)
