Am new to elfing but cant wait to get started! DD is 4.5 and DS is 11...
He appears to be a little unsure re the whole xmas thing so we need to have a proper conversation about it as dont think can let him continue his first year at secondary still believing
so I plan to involve him with the elfing for DD.
just need to find an elf now... going to call him buddy sugarsocks as thats name DS came up with years ago.
Exciting!0 -

I was in ikea this morning and they had some rag doll type elves in the kids bedroom section. Think they were only a few quid so perfect for elving on a budget.

This is our first year elfing and I'd been reading about the official elf on a shelf brand. Lovely family background if your interested. Anyway they did a short elf story movie which I've just ordered from argos for £2.99

I have the same one as on the last link and it is gorgeous! Definitely recommend it! Because it is small it is easier to do things with it too!
I only paid £4.99 for mine though so might be worth having a look around!0 -

I really want the second one, but this is the only place in the UK I can find itThe rest from America you have to add on $15 delivery too.
I got a Elf puppet in our local card store for £2 today:T, and will use stuffing from an old cushion to fill it and sew it up, but I'm really not keen on it. I really want the one from that place, but I refuse to pay that money for it!
If anyone sees this one any cheaper elsewhere can they please please please let me know!Pay all debt off by Christmas 2025 £815.45/£3,000£1 a day challenge 2025 - £180/£730 Declutter a bag a week in 2025 11/52Lose 25lb - 10/25lbs Read 1 book per week - 5/52Pay off credit card debt 18%/100%0
