  • Found this thread last night and am hooked! Never heard of it before. Picked a little elf up from tesco for £3.50 this morning (too short notice to order one), just got a mad couple of days trying to sort out a passport etc in three days!
I think it's a brilliant idea but then I am a big kid
    :xmassmile
    Now first job is a name . . .
    :hello:
  • To everyone who pm'd me wanting to join elf card swap - I have today sorted it all out, there are 15 of us which works out well, each of us will send / receive 3 cards! Remeber, cards are for the elves, from the elves!
If you havent received a pm from me let me know, but I think I got everyone!!!
Not long now till the elves start arriving!

Do any of you ladies have any ideas what I can do with elf while were away?
Or should I leave him till we get back?

can he stowaway in your bag? visit auntie/grandparents?

    Hello!

I read this thread last year and loved it, but at 2, felt my DD was too young. This year she is almost 4 and so I gave in and ordered an 'elf onthe shelf'. He's here and I have a time table with most days filled in....

do you name your elf in advance or let the kids name it?

anyone got a good elf passport - the printables all seem to be 2010 or 2011 and won't let me change them :/

    Thanks!

My Elf is ready with the little stocking to bring on Dec the 1st, and i cannot wait, we have a peppermint elf this year and i'm just hoping my little girls do not argue like they did last year over him. I'm wondering if its best to maybe get another to save any arguments lol.
    :)

My daughters found sharing a bit hard so last year our Elf brought her little pet with her. It is a small cute large eyed raccoon type thing in a santa hat holding a candy cane. It's name is Obi and it poops (chocolate raisins) everywhere. They LOVE it and it helps heaps x
